Coutinho's penalty was absolutely shocking. I despise the stutter as it is, but the penalty was so weak and so central. I expect much more from a player of his calibre.
Lucas and Lallana took fine penalties, they were just very well saved.
We had the luck with the penalty not awarded in the 90mins but they had the luck with Toure getting the deciding spot kick after he maybe should've been sent off in Extra time.
Lots of pride in this team, a lot better showing at Wembley than the FA Cup semi last year. We've gone toe to toe with a team who still might win their 3rd PL title in 5 years this season. One that has a hell of a budget and players more experienced and expensive than most of ours.
Bring them on again at Anfield Wednesday evening.
If there's one rich I club I can take losing a final to it's City. Sounds like it's been a great atmosphere around and at the stadium today.

never doubted sturridge and his desire to play for liverpool. all that he was refusing to play BS was embarrassing and any fan who helped spread that rubbish should feel like an idiot.

Had a quiet game but not helped by lack of and a poor supply.
Wondering if Origi should've started with Sturridge on the bench.”
Hindsight is wonderful isn't it? Of course Sturridge should've started. Supply line was poor. Hope it's better midweek.
