We came from a goal down to win with a 94th minute penalty with 10 men against a bogey team. I'll take that.

People will moan, and mock us for needing that or whatever but a win's a win, and I'm happy for Benteke. Was disappointed Milner went off when we got the penalty but Benteke did the job. He wasn't bad when he came on, either.

Never deserved the 3 points in a million years. Completely rode our luck. Made up for Benteke to score though. Hopefully we stick future penalties on him because he is decent at them.

Seems like we have a distinct lack of incisive passing with Can and Hendo in the middle. They both constantly pass sideways and backwards, which wouldn't be too bad if we had quality in wide areas but we don't. We just end up lumping poor crosses into the box and getting counter-attacked. I'd like to see Can maybe paired with Allen.

If we win our game in hand we can go 5 points behind Arsenal... Shows just what a mad season it is for the PL given how terribly inconsistent we've been.

Well, that makes up for some pain against Palace in recent times. We were very brave at 1-1 when most teams would've taken the point - kept pushing forward. I really couldn't watch the pen - switched off and took to my score app instead! Palace didn't deserve to win as the way they approached the game once Milner got sent off was all wrong and they lost belief once they gifted us the equaliser. That's the luck we've not been getting earlier in the season.

I wonder what the Pulis cybermen have in store for us next up today?

Don't agree with those saying it was a lucky win and we didn't deserve it.

We didn't shoot enough but we got better as the game went on and once milner got sent off we were the better team and created more, Moreno unlucky with his shot that hit the post. I'll agree we were a bit lucky not to go behind to Adebayor's header but apart from that I thought we'd not been overly troubled. Once we equalised I honestly only thought 1 team would win that and we did.

It was a pen, Delaneys knee made contact with Benteke so he's entitled to go down.

I was screaming that he should take it tho as Henderson approached him. If ineffective Henderson wouldn't step up at wembley he had no right to take that off Benteke, considering how cool Benteke took his pen v Stoke, happily he did the same this time.

Good result all round today, and we have still got the Merseyside Derby to play, as well as the postponed fixture against Chelsea which was originally due to be played next weekend. Apparently there will be an announcement made on the 10th March, on when the postponed games will be played. I wonder if this will be before or after International break.
