Sturridge seems to have lost his magic touch, thats 2 or 3 propper chances he's cocked up tonight.

Well we had our chances and missed them, can't complain.

1-1 Kane, it was coming, all Spurs now.

It's pathetic just how much we lack pace and the ability to threaten on the counter attack. Every time we have a chance to break we look so slow and without options.

Great goal from Coutinho.

Super finish from Kane. His ruthless

Fair result I guess, we missed some decent chances but they again so did they.

Strange performance, missed a few chances but battled away for a draw. Sakho and Lovren seem to have swapped form from earlier in the season.

A draw doesn't really do much for us, but if we've given Leicester a helping hand then I'm at least happy about that.

Spurs are probably where we want to be at some point down the line under Klopp. Hopefully sooner rather than later but we'll have to see what the summer transfer window brings.

Can't tell if you mean scared or sacred there.

Sturridge used to watch repeats of his goals prior to a game when he was on fire as a striker.

I wonder if he bothers doing that anymore? Klopp was raging Daniel! Daniel! on the touchline presumably at his lack of movement.

If his lack of a goal threat continues for the rest of the season Klopp might be applying bandages to the bitten hand of the buyer.

I know we are LFC and never like to admit that another team could be in a better place than us but today we came up against a THFC team who are playing very well with a lot of confidence and I felt we matched them. The big thing I felt was that throughout the game THFC were going for a win as a draw hampers their title challenge and so that added to the interest level. As always at Anfield we went for the win too so that led to an entertaining game. We could have won if we had hung on to the 1-0 lead but if I am honest a draw was fair. Both teams played well and had chances to win but neither quite managed it.

I could be negative about one or two individuals as they may have misplaced a pass or missed a tackle or did not finish a decent chance but overall I think all 11 of them did more right than wrong so you are not going to get any negativity off me today.

Coutinho, Lovren and Clyne were prob my picks for our best players but I am sure others would highlight others as like I said nobody did much wrong.

As for our season i think at this stage 7th looks our most likely finishing place - not good as it gets us into the EL which in many ways we could do without but I will not write off finishing higher yet - even top 4 altho yes i know that is unlikely now

He may think he's sacred...

Either team could've won, so a draw was fair. Sturridge may be unhappy to come off but if he plays within himself and on tie fringes of games he about be surprised. At least he provided an assist for the excellent Coutinho. The fullbacks kept their collective eyes on Walker and Rose and Lovren was decent today as was Henderson defensively. For once, Sakho warranted the intakes of breath from the commentators but thankfully didn't let a shaky spell affect him. Can needs to offer more going forward as his defensive work is getting more erratic. Mignolet did well.

On to Thursday...

Sturridge bothers me, this past few games he has done very little. Before hand when he got a shot on target there was a pretty good chance he would score, now however theres a good chance he will miss, it was the same for England and certainly in current form I wouldn't start him in the Euro's, Vardy and Kane all the way for me. I hope its just a slight blip in form but he's reminding me more and more of Benteke,

Kane didn't celebrate that wildly with his equaliser. Must mean he likes our club and would probably want to join us given the chance

Just kidding Spurs fans but I'd sure like him in our side

Not having a player who can be relied on to get on the pitch most weeks and hit over 20 league goals in a season is a troubling recent phenomenon for us Liverpool fans. We've been blessed over the years to be honest - and some of them were home grown or gambles. I'm beginning to accept that Sturridge won't return to former glories consistently enough to merit not buying a stellar striker and also hope Ings and Origi give decent cover along with Firmino - but none of them are good enough or reliable/resilient enough to take us to that next level. Spurs have benefited from Kane's resilience this season as gave Leicester with Vardy. It makes a huge difference, especially if striking cover is a bit thin. I'm also jealous of Spurs' acquisition of Alderweireld and Alli and their decisive goalkeeper.

Ho hum - I'm sure JK can see what we can see and has a lengthy shopping list to resolve our various shortcomings and his network from Germany will be useful.

Draw was a fair result, looked like they were going to run away with it in the 2nd half, when they got well on top, but we seemed to get back on top later.

If there is even a slither of truth in the Daily Star story about a Middle East takeover, the how about a cheeky bid to bring Suarez back. He's been tabloid linked to Guardiola wanting him at City.

I know it was just in the star but even a stopped clock is right twice a day!!
