Crouch header disallowed for offside.Correct decision. Klopp and Hughes arguing like mad on the touchline. Can see their being red cards and managers sent to the stands in this one.
Sturridge long range shot just wide. |

Sturridge! Looks like there'll be plenty of goals in this one from both sides.

Shawcross not far off a second equaliser for Stoke. It was a header from a set piece unusually enough

Can see stoke scoring again, our defendings terrible, we need a 2 goal cushion at least.

2-1 we lead at half time.Has a feel of a cup tie rather than a late season PL match.Klopp really needs to bring some defenders in this summer who will intimidate our opponents on their set pieces.

3 points and an extra 3 towards our goal difference.
If Man United lost at Spurs that will make it a great day.

4-1, against a good Stoke side, with us clearly having an eye on Thursday, isn't a bad result!
Origi's loving his football at the moment, and it's always nice to see Sturridge score. Would love it if Moreno give us a few more of those worldies. Ojo and Kevin Stewart impressed me today, I want to see more of them this season, especially Ojo. I knew when I accidentally left Bojan out of my team on Ultimate fantasy football I doomed us to a goal from him. |

Well that was great fun to watch.
Always extra satisfying beating Stoke. They showed they're still just a bunch of hoofball thugs with the random kick outs and having a go at Pieters for not mindlessly launching it to Crouch's head for the 50th time while under zero pressure on the halfway line. Some great performances from the fringe players/younger lads too, especially Origi, whose willingness to run at defenders is what we all love to see. He causes them no end of problems with his pace and power. Ojo and Allen also put in strong performances. Dortmund also played a much-weakened side in their derby with Schalke, drawing 2-2, so today's games probably won't have much bearing on the 2nd leg in terms of fitness or fatigue. Hopefully it's a confidence booster for the players who might be involved, and the crowd too who'll be so important on Thursday night. |

Very happy with that one, and so dammed good to see Origi being one of Rodgers best moves for the club, he is a gem. Ojo and Stewart did very well, and Wee Joe was spot on. Still 2 games in hand, and that +3 goals today could be vital yet.
Very happy, glad to watch a stream without BT's droners for a change too - yep, got my smiles on!
