Great to see Origi getting three in two games now.Really happy with his development over the season and the best is yet to come. Agree that Rodgers and the transfer committee got his signing spot on. They deserve praise along with Klopp and the current coaching squad for giving him game time.

I went to watch the game in the bar, ended up working instead. What I caught of the game impressed me considering the changes to the team. Still think sadly, Skrtel needs to be off soon.
Allen is fantastic. He I feel, is quite underrated, because he tends to be full of energy, and plays simple passes, but he has this way of controlling our tempo. Ojo impressed me, and Stewart just got on with his job. The future under Klopp looks good. Feeling positive about the Dortmund game too, hopefully the good Liverpool show up, and not the Southampton game style Liverpool.. |

I think Klopp likes Joe Allen. When we first appointed Klopp I said he'll like Joe Allen, and that seems to be the case. I wouldn't be surprised, or disappointed, to see him here next season, even as a squad player.

Milner was brought in to sort of soften the blow of losing Gerrard. Of all the Gerrard things he could have taken as his own he went with Gerrard's often-poor corners!

He always puts a good shift in, so you can't fault him for effort. But yeah, his set-pieces aren't great and he's not the most creative. |

To be fair to Milner, today's efforts take him to 9 assists in the league. With his 5 goals too, I'm happy with his contribution - aside from those corners of course!

I may have just learned a painful lesson on Ultimate. When a player has two matches in one game week you can't sub them out then sub them back in again. Lukaku and Barkley had poor scores so I took them out for Kane and Coutinho. Kane only got 4 (2x2, my captain) and Coutinho didn't play. I can't bring Lukaku and Barkley back in. Now Lukaku's going to get a hat-trick against Crystal Palace and Ross Barkley is going to assist all three.

Current topic of conversation amongst LFC's media and fans.
Should we hold onto Joe Allen? He has one year left on contract now, and as far as is known, no signs that he will be offered a renewal. For me? I would keep him over and above other options we have. He might be small, but he really does know how to read a game, make the right moves to change the speed of play, and has proven to be dedicated and fearless. Someone noted that when he's on the bench, he watches every move of the game intently, taking in as much detail of players as he can. He has rarely been subbed on without making an impression and improvement in match play, frankly, I would be gutted if he left. |

Joe Allen is one of those perpetual, continuity players who keeps the ball and tempo moving. I'd have thought Klopp would like him given the way he wants us to play. Same goes for Henderson really. Players who do what they do and create/score regularly are very rare.

I think Allen is an essential part of the squad. I really hope he's offered a new contract.

I suspect we'll keep him to the end of his contract and he'll head off on a free to one of the smaller clubs for a big payday, and fair play to him. I think he's a great player who deserves to be playing more often but he's not going to get that at Liverpool.

#LFC are pursuing Dahoud. Klopp is an admirer of the player renowned for his stamina and technical ability. (Tony Barrett)
Klopp has targeted highly rated Borussia Monchengladbach starlet Mahmoud Dahoud as he looks to reshape #LFC’s midfield. (Paul Joyce) Don't know the pronunciation of that name, I'm reading "Dahoud" as "da hood" and wondering if Klopp is going ghetto on us. We've also been linked with the Eredivisie top goalscorer, Vincent Jannsen, by someone called Don Balon, plays for AZ who are currently in 6th. He has 21 goals in 30 appearances (28 starts) in the league. He is 21, turns 22 in June. AZ themselves have 56 goals in the league. Supposedly £9.8m or something like that. |

![]() Allen? - I think he has improved and now I quite like him and if poss want him to stay. The problem is that JK may not be able to guarantee him many starts and so from his pov it may be best to leave. A season or two ago my son described him as a grey player and that summed him up - very anonymous with no great attributes apart from keeping the ball by passing it side ways!! Also there were some games where he was simply muscled out of it due to his small stature (MUFC at home last season). Now tho I feel he has worked on his game and is stronger, is more likely to get in the box (and even score as he has had several shots and chances), presses better and tries attacking passes more. In fact at times I feel he is better than some who are much more automatic picks like Hendo (this season) and Milner. So for me it is definitely a vote for keeping him but whether we will I am not sure as JK seems to see him as behind some others in the pecking order. |

So you could have been hoping Lukaku got a hat trick??? - being an old fogie I do none of these things and only ever want LFC and its players to do well and I am very glad to be that way

If I had been able to sub him back in, yes. But now I'd like him to get an own goal. No room for club bias in fantasy football. It's serious business.

Well seems I didn't lose much with the two subs. Lukaku 2 points in total from the four games. Barkley got 4 tonight, so 6 in total so if I left him on instead of putting on 0-points Coutinho I'd be +6pts better off, or at least +4 if the thing wasn't rigged.
Hennessey got me 17 points though so that's not bad. Forgot he was there, not sure if making him the captain was an option. |

He's carried on the same sort of form he's always shown, even from his Swansea days. He was just vastly under appreciated. That being said, perhaps the beard helps ?
