Brilliant performance tonight. Can't fault us, playing like this we can beat anyone.
Yep, this was the way Liverpool played in 2005. Great stuff.
Klopp is such a great appointment.

Can has been boss tonight
He has been great tonight , we have some really good young players who should hopefully only improve with age.

I am sorry if this has been discussed before but the capacity for the final of 36,000 is shocking.

So many people will want to go to the final and don't stand a chance.

Incredible performance. We dominated from start to finish and fully deserve our spot in the final.

Some sublime performances out there and it shows Klopp's plan really came together. The stick he got after the first leg surprised me. Hopefully people learn to trust him a little more.

One game away from our first trophy AND a CL place under Klopp. If we play like we did tonight we have every chance of doing it! We faltered at Wembley, we can't let this one slip through our fingers.

"I remember the year well, grandson. Leicester had just won the league before Kolo Toure led Liverpool to Europa League glory."

I laughed.

The final is going to be great, but Sevilla are a tough team to beat, so we have to be on top of our game

Here's my post from 19:59:

Villarreal are a conservative side, some hopefully the chances of a Dortmund styles start are low (yes, I know...).

What I hope happens is they sit tight and we grab a goal in the first half. We get to about an hour and make it 2-0. They start to commit more players forward and we do them on the break to the things up at 3-0 with not enough time left for them to come back.

What's I fear the most is Soldado actually scoring a goal.
What I hope happens next is I win the Lottery on Saturday...

And Tottenham finishing above Arsenal. Ah those were the days

Firmino MOTM for me. Understated, yet outstanding performnance. His piece of trickery in the 2nd half was mesmerising, and he did wonderfully well to beat his man and set up the 3rd goal.

Did you have a bet on Leicester City to win the league at the start of the season

I'd have thought we'd have gotten smashed tonight. We only beat Dortmund because of Klopp and the OTT media attention surrounding that fixture. Or at least that's what I was led to believe by posts in the Champions League thread.

Brilliant night! Every player was fantastic, the pressing was so fierce we made Villareal look very ordinary!

Basel here we come!

It's funny you should ask that... No I didn't.

Buzzing after that win - some sublime performances. Can, Milner, Firmino, Sturridge, Lovren and Toure ALL stood out and Mignolet and Lallana had key contributions. Allen full of it when he came on too.

The fist pumping at the end, what a guy. Although I love Rafa his total lack of emotion when we won was annoying.
