Player of the year for me is difficult no-one has been a stand out performer. It's literally been a team effort. I would throw Milner, Coutinho, Clyne (in no particular order) into the hat.

I have always though Alan Smith was extremely biased towards Liverpool.

Right at the death of injury time, 1-1.

Get in. Tekkers. Deserved that. Even though it was a half-arsed effort from us we did earn that.

Much like the Swansea game, we didn't seem to put much effort in. I expected it though so a point isn't too bad under the circumstances. Happy for Benteke to get his 10th of the season.

I'm sure we'll see a second string side put out vs WBA, so EL football next season is unlikely. Still, we're only 90 (maybe 120) mins away from the Champions League if the lads can pull off something special.
