Cracking goal from Ibe, 1-1

That's what we've been waiting for all season. Unreal from Ibe. First PL goal.

More of that and you'll have a very good career with us Ibe lad!!

The goal that possibly saves Ibe's Liverpool career perhaps? Quality from him. Been waiting all season for that.

Would it though? Could he do it again? Was it a fluke or a one off?

My point is that it's possibly worth persevering with him to find out. The kid has just reminded us all there that he actually has loads of talent.

West Ham would have had to have lost and us getting more than one goal for any decent effect.

Well done the lads, a draw from our B team is respectable - end of the PL season, but roll on Seville, I hope we are ready for them!!

Decent point. Pulis parked the bus at home and made the game boring but that's just the way he is. Our second string did well.

We finish 8th in the PL so it's win or bust for European football in the EL final.
Reaching two finals, hopefully winning one and a huge change to a positive attitude around the club means Klopp has done a very good job. Can't wait to see us get his first trophy this week, CL qualification and and his first summer transfer dealings.

I'd rather not play Europa next season to be honest, win the Final and get CL is a huge must even for silverware which we are dying for of late.

Nice tribute to the 96 by West Brom and Rickie Lambert.

Even though it's going to be an exciting end to the season there's no disgusing it's been another dissapointing league season, we've finished two places lower with 2 points less than last season, though it may have seemed like it was better because of some good results against the top teams and better performances.

True enough, but let's look at some vital facts here.

1. Changing a manager and him having to cope with a new team, none of whom was his selection.
2. At one point we had what was close to a first team in the sick bay.
3. Played what, 63 matches this season? (I think), that's a lot with all the injuries and other complications.
4. Bring in the silver next week, and it will be the most successful we have been for a long, long time.

I think we can pull a lot of positives, It wasn't long ago that someone said he didn't have the tools and we are in transition, We've made it to two cup finals since then. . .

Liverpool's B team players won't win many games. The players aren't good enough. If the club qualifies for the CL by beating Sevilla on Wed, then Klopp will need probably at least 6 top quality players in the summer, just to give squad cover due to the number of games. It's not as if Liverpool's best XI doesn't need improvement either.

I hope resting these players will be worth it and we win the Europa League

I just want to congratulate Mesut Ozil on equalling Sheyi Ojo's Premier League assist tally for 2016.

The one that knocked both Man United and Dortmund out of Europe, was one of only 2 teams to beat Leicester in the league, won 4-1 at Man City and 3-1 at Chelsea and did not lose to Tottenham or Arsenal either - is that the one you mean?

Joking apart I think we are not that far off and with a few tweaks (not 6 top quality players as you put it) we will do OK. In the past changing too many players at once has been a mistake we have made and Klopp will know that. He knows what he is doing.

Looks like we're signing Zielinski. There are pictures of him in a Liverpool shirt, too, not sure if the deal's already been done.

I haven't seen him play but I like him for his attitude. I've never known a player to seem so desperate to come to Liverpool. He's one stop away from doing an Odemwingie. Having a player wanting to play for us so badly can only be a good thing.

I don't know if the shirt thing is photoshopped or not. It's not a real shirt anyway since he's got number 10 on the back.

I see Benteke's goal is one of the 8 up for goal of the season on MOTD tonight.

Good luck!

You know as well as anyone that this season, Liverpool have turned up for the big games against top 4 opposition and won. It's the games against teams that are mid table or threatened with relegation where Liverpool's best XI has been dropping points for years. It happened under Rodgers and it's still happening under Klopp. If the performance of Liverpool's best team was anywhere near as good as you make out, the club wouldn't have limped to 8th in the PL table, and limping is exactly what it's done.

Consistency has been a major problem at LFC for seasons. Klopp looks nowhere nearer to solving the underlying issues. The pass pass pass style of play has to be changed when necessary. Having all the possession, as they did in the 2nd half against West Brom, means nothing when you don't create chances because the opposition have parked the bus as it knows exactly how you're going to play.
