No europa League next year.

Benefits the team.. Just concentrate on the league.

La liga'a record in Europe is just ridiculous.

Well done to Sevilla. Had a go at nullifying our pressing game in the first half with the long ball game and it didn't quite work, so Unai Emery changed it up second half and they stopped hoofing it and started playing on the deck. They went straight for the jugular (Moreno) and Mariano went past him like he wasn't there. Conceding that soon after kick off broke us.

Their first goal doesn't happen if we have a competent left back. Their second goal doesn't happen if we have a competent defensive midfielder. They passed it through the midfield while Can and Milner looked around like lost dogs. If Lucas is on the pitch he probably stops that goal.

We don't need an overhaul but certain positions urgently need strengthening.

Who here is sticking around to see Sevilla lifting the cup for the third straight year

Have to say well done to sevilla on winning it 3 years straight.

Well done Sevilla, 3 trophies in a row is a huge achievement.

I do hope any of the PL sides against them in the CL give them a good beating though, given their time wasting.

Their manager has the sort of face I'd like to punch though.Even when they were behind

Well done our lads for crapping over the spirit of Istanbul in the second half.

Should we start to worry about CL clubs bidding for Coutinho and Sturridge now

Just concentrate on the league, Who are we we going to buy. Who would want to come to a mid table side that is not playing in Europe. How are going to make the top four when all the best players will be going to other clubs

Arsenal fan with sympathy.

You were poor in that 2nd half. Didn't do yourselves justice at all. You should have won the game. Must be frustrating for you.

I did notice a few times that I didn't thing Sturridge tried hard enough to get on the end of balls. He seemed to hold back on sprinting, and going in for 50/50s.

I wanted you to win that.

Klopp, nice guy, talks a good game but I'm not convinced.

Here we go. Gloom and doom merchants again.

Players go where the money is. If we pay wages players will come.

This myth that being in the champions league guarantees top players will come needs to stop.

Oh and if you think that players care about playing in the Europa League then you really do need help.

Players are not gonna choose West Ham over Liverpool for example because of Europa League.

We'll ask Leicester their secret.

Klopp has a really bad record with finals but he is most definitely the man to take us forward. No doubt about it.

Maybe if Leicester go out of the CL before xmas, we can sign half their team in January and make a late push for the top four

Caller on five live moaning at Klopp for only signing Caulker in January. Occasionally you get fortunate as when we signed Suarez, Coutinho and Sturridge in that window. Although those were a gamble at the time given disciplinary and injury issues.

Really awful second half performance, very very poor
Made Sevilla look like Barca
We have to improve the defence next season, Moreno he is a liability just an awful player.

At least we can concentrate just on improving in the league next season now.
I trust Klopp to improve us greatly

Disappointed that we let their first goal affect us so much. Well done Sevilla though. Too many players didn't impose themselves. We need another left back who can defend first and attack second. Onwards and upwards...

Is it possible to get Torres and Xaxi Alonso on the cheap

Sad part is Manure look certain to lift silverware Saturday.

I thought Allen should of been brought on earlier. We really lost the midfield and sturridge was isolate. We gave the ball away so cheaply in the 2nd half.

Sux to lose but just move on and look forward to next season.

LOL. Knee jerking at its very best. He's not got his own players in yet and has already made decent strides. He'd have learned a lot from tonight.

Not 100% convinced myself but problems run deeper than just a manager at LFC and have done for a number of years.

He's got far more out of a squad largely assembled by Rodgers than the previous manager did. Yes the season we finished 2nd was great but we had no Euro football,Suarez on fire and were out of the domestic cups early.

Could we try and sign up some of those responsible for recruitment at Leicester, West Ham and Southampton.

Id be happy enough with John Barnes and Ian Rush maybe even Jan Molby thrown in for go measure.

Keegan is available.

He'd love it if you signed him.

No CL football for Utd,Chelsea or Liverpool next season.More predictable for us recently but the odds on that happening a few years ago would've been astronomical.

For God's sake why sink to that? We shouldn't need to pay attention to what other clubs do - let them continue to worry about us and where Klopp may take us next season.

Think Jonas Eriksson got his decisions right tonight. He's a good referee and would like to see him get the Euro 2016 final
