He's still young and a top quality player in the correct system. Ours is not it (unfortunately) for him.
Cant imagine he would fancy going to Palace though? He's better than that IMO. If you get between £25m and £30m you can chalk it up to experience and move on without having suffered too much.

Yeah, he is. He's a good Premier League striker. His record speaks for itself. Even last season it was okay for a team that doesn't suit him.

He'd do well at West Ham.

Yeah they'll need someone to replace Carroll when he gets his 6 month injury in mid August.

Apparently Steven Gerrard could be getting a coaching role at England. He'll retire from playing in November or December.

Could be a good move for him, I just hope he doesn't just become the manager.

It might also rule out any Lampard coaching role at England. Those two don't work well together.

He's been too busy celebrating England losing.

It seems, according to multiple media outlets, that Palace are willing to up their bid to £31.5m. That'd be just a £1m loss.

Colour me surprised. That'd be a shrewd bit of business on our part.

I could see Benteke scoring a barrel load of goals at Palace. I wish he was getting offers from another league, but with his fee and wages it really had to be another PL club who could/would pay it all.

And if the Hammers are still looking for a striker, we've still got Balotelli...free to a good home.... or if Signor Conte is interested in a challange, a few quid for not quite such a good home

Brad Jones has joined us for pre-season training. Just training, of course!

Meanwhile, Danny Ward is going on loan again. We're lacking a third-choice goalkeeper. Luckily without Europe we won't need one, and someone (probably Ryan Fulton) could step up in the one or two games he may be required for, if necessary.

Otherwise, it's Brad, or a returning Jose Enrique.

Another stupid loss over demands for stupid wages:-

Spanish winger Sergi Canos (19 yrs old) could be on his way to join Norwich City, after Liverpool accepted their £2.5 million on Monday.

Canos looked set for a bright future on Merseyside, but talks broke down over a new deal following the youngster’s demand of an improved, £10,000-a-week wage.

Sign of the times but glad the club are not being silly and accepting these terms.

I've read that Alex Teixera could be on his way out of China already.

Even though we're kinda full where he'd play, I expect us to get linked to him again.

If there is a chance to sign a really good player, we should get him

If he's already snubbed us once, I wouldn't expect Klopp to go back in for him.

If he says he wants to join us

I think Klopp would be interested

If Wales win the Euros, then wee Joe will have one more medal won with his country than any in four years at LFC

The odds on that would've been about twice Leicester winning the PL!!!

Seeing Leicester and being a Welshman, I even think I might see LFC become champions of England again some day!!

What about Andy King

He could have the amazing double of winning

Premier League and Euros winners medals in the same year

It is rumoured that Alex Teixeira may move to Inter Milan from Jiangsu Suning, which is coincidental seeing as both clubs have the same owners.
