Certainly did!! - just back now after leaving London about 9.45 and a 200+ mile drive - no stops.
When you are at a game it is maybe harder to analyse than when you are watching on TV as there are no half time replays, analysis or Sky+ rewinds. I felt different to a game at Anfield and as if there were a lot of 'tourist fans' there - people in kits which weren't this season, lots of half an half scarves, people asking some pretty unaware questions (who was Ian Rush?, which one is Klopp?, what is offside?), very few singing YNWA (thats something I have to do when I go to a LFC match!!), lots of leaving early or going to buy a cola 10 minutes before the half time whistle ...etc, but a good experience for sure. I too don't have this seasons kit and would feel a bit out of place in another kit if I went to Anfield - but if I had been in another kit yesterday for sure that would not have mattered.
But like everyone is saying it was a good display by everyone - no weak links and some really good displays. I think we need to be a little bit cautious in that in the PL things will be different - and like you I have no idea what the best eleven is especially the midfield positions altho having said that I still worry a bit about the lack of a real top notch defensive midfielder like say Makalele or a Mascherano, That could be a weak area as i not sure Can is a good fit for that exact role but he is maybe the nearest we have got. :LB is still the big worry - and I put my thoughts on it a few days ago - get Hector asap sums it up!!

We have had this discussion many times - my opinion is that as well as the poor results it was the awful style of play (passing ad infinitum to no effect) under BR in his last season that was his undoing. Yes the nearly season was great and he has to be given credit for that but in his last season I cannot recall a single game which really excited me, even among the wins and there were some beyond awful displays like home V MUFC, away to AFC, CP at home in SGs last game at Anfield, Stoke the last game when we were 5-0 down at half time, all 8 European games and many others too. We as LFC fans hate losing (like fans of all teams) but if we have effort and excitement that softens the blow, under BR post Suarez we lost in ways which were unacceptable. Whereas in the short time under Klopp even with BRs squad we have had many exciting games - to name a few - wins at MCFC and CFC in the PL, the 4-0 win in the derby at Anfield, the 5-4 V Norwich, both EL games V MUFC, and perhaps the best of all the Dortmund win at Anfield. Klopp has made us believe to use the phrase he used in one of his early press conferences - we as LFC fans think that we can get back to the top under this guy and we are all behind him.
I sense following LFC in the last BR season was a bit like MUFC fans felt when they saw MUFC underachieve under LVG and Moyes - cos that is what Scholes seemed to be saying whenever I heard him talk as a pundit last season.
