Moreno out of position there. I think that's the final straw. 3 weeks of the window left, let's get a bloody LB in.

After that great penalty save as well.

This is really poor so far. Could be 3-0 before we know it.

Moreno rescued by a Mig penalty save.

Walcott makes up for it now though to put them 1-0 up.

We've been woeful so far, no focal point to attack and Moreno handing them chances.

Thanks FSG and Rodgers for signing that clown. Arguably cost us an EL win and CL qualification and continuing this season.

Would've been great to see Hector come in but Cologne just gave him a new contract.

His awareness and game intelligence is shockingly bad

We've had all summer to get the LB situation fixed. Shouldn't not be starting the season with Moreno in the team as the only option. His lack of game intelligence is ridiculous.

Was a stonewall penalty. You can't dive in like that taking out the player regardless if you touch the ball.

There'll be other left backs out there. Quite frankly, I'd be tempted to stick Alexander-Arnold at RB and Clyne at LB. Could that be any worse?

Neville was right about him earlier.Does everything at 100mph without thinking of consequences.

Rewind to the day he was signed. Fans were waxing lyrical and anyone would have thought we signed one of the best FB's in Europe.

He may have looked good at Seville but he has been so bad here

Not a fan of this as you lose balance in the side. Get what you are saying though. Probably would better then moreno

I'll be more than happy with a draw from this one if we can claw it back now. Especially since the goal, Arsenal look like they want it more.

Yellow for Lovren now, we're totting them up already.

Iwobi went down far too easily there.

The big problem with Moreno is he doesn't learn. Players can make mistakes and have flaws but with the right work can improve. He doesn't improve though, the same ball watching, same rashness, same lack of awareness of what's going on around him is still there as much as it's always been.

Going forward his average, defensively his dreadful.

Problem is, in addition to the rash Moreno, we don't have a commanding centre-back. I suppose it's the modern game, you don't really have organisers back there holding the line and so on.

Carra would have gone ballistic at Moreno..

To those of you who said Firmino ahead of Coutinho in the Fantasy Football, you will face my wrath.

Wonderful free kick though

Mané ahead of Coutinho

Awesome free kick from the little magician but I'm still worried about us defensively. I feel like Arsenal could score more in this game and we lack a threat in open play. With Arsenal weakened I'd have liked to see Origi test those young CBs. Firmino's not really cutting it up there.

*hides*

To make it even worse, my advice made you miss out on points because you dropped the player who just won me money.

I still think Firmino's the better choice, both are inconsistent, but I think when Firmino's on it he can get more points.

Poor display for the opening of a new season. Rescued by Mingolet and, not for the first time, Coutinho.
I hate going on and on about Moreno, but he's not a LB, he should be playing Wijnaldum's position. We will never have a proper defence with Alberto at LB.

I'd be tempted to bring on Grujic for Wijnaldum, anyone for Moreno and possibly Origi for lallana or Firmino. We still have a chance to rescue a win from this game.
