I'd be happy just to win and continue to build up the confidence and belief of the team.

What line up then? - I would not be that unhappy with unchanged from the stoke game. The ones in biggest danger of being left out are Ibe and Lallana as they were large ineffective V Stoke but at home when you'd like to think we would attack more then I think keeping them in may be the right thing to do. If they were left out then Can and Firmino would be the obvious ones to come in. I hope to see Firmino play at least 20 minutes tonight. I will however accept and support whoever plays as it is not that obvious what would be best.

Like many I do not want Lovrren in the team but for now I guess he has to play as he was OK V Stoke apart from the elbow. Hopefully being left out will not frustrate Sakho too much as for sure him and Skrtel are our best CBs. I hope Sakho is on the bench tonight. Moreno V Gomez for LB again is an issue but as Gomez did OK V Stoke he has to be kept in but whether that will be long term who knows - it depends how he plays I guess.

The only way to improve Lovren's mental resilience is to play him - the club have been working with him so I can see why he's been given another chance. I think Firmino will start instead of Lallana as the only change but let's see.

c/p from This is Anfield, word for word!

Brendan Rodgers has selected the same side that started at Stoke, opting not to bring in either Roberto Firmino or Emre Can.

Instead, the ineffective Adam Lallana keeps his place.

Mamadou Sakho, Lucas Leiva and Lazar Markovic are again not among the subs.

Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Gomez, Milner, Henderson, Ibe, Coutinho, Lallana, Benteke.

Subs: Bogdan, Toure, Firmino, Moreno, Can, Origi, Ings.

Lovren already getting a battering. The ref ruled that out to the letter of the law.I'm guessing it would've stood had it happened to us or a top 4 club.

Rodgers has talked a lot about defensive solidity but it's disrupted fluency. As I write this, Benteke has scored!

Welcome to Anfield Christian, hopefully the first of many.

Controversial though, Couts was going for the ball and was offside to the letter of the law again.

Benteke's confidence looks to have rocketed since the goal.I'm loving his hold up play.

I think Coutinho has been outstanding! a couple of misplaced passes but he is clearly where most of (if not all) our chances are coming from. Love the guy!!

Every single one of Benteke's flicks or knock ons has found a Liverpool player. He's been absolutely bossing it so far. Clyne, Gomez, Henderson and Milner also having bright games. I wanna see more from Lallana and Ibe.

Should really be 0-0. Coutinho was of course offside, but I don't agree that Bournemouth's goal should have stood. Personally thought the tug on Lovren was very obvious and with enough force that it WOULD bring him to ground.

Hopefully we'll go for the jugular in the second half. Bring in Can, Firmino and Ings at some point, and see if we can't win this by a 3 goal margin.
