Just the very, very best, hope we can keep this going, we have now tackled 4 of the top teams and not lost to any one of them. Pity about Burnley, I blame Mane!

Oh,and I hope the DM reporter that wrote THIS TRASH today is made to stand in the corner with a dunce cap for eternity - pillock!

Yes nice win!!

Martin Tyler's commentary pisses me off. So unenthusiastic when we score as opposed to the excitement he shows when Pogba shoots.

Brilliant performance. Played some outstanding stuff in the first half against the Chelsea bus.

Hendo's goal was a beauty. Unbelievable strike. I think he and Lallana fell asleep for Chelsea's goal by not tracking Matic's run though. An issue with not having a natural defensive midfielder (or number 6 as Klopp refers to it ) in the side is those midfield runners sometimes don't get tracked.

I want to mention Wijnaldum because he ran his socks off, used the ball well and put in some important tackles. Was a low key but strong performance nonetheless.

We've done very well in spite of such a tough start to the season. Some outstanding away performances. Now we just need a resounding win at home against Hull to make the fans believe we can be consistent.

I remember when we had an awful record at Stamford Bridge

But now everytime we go there we always win

How many times now have we beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge over the last five years

I makes it 5 wins and 2 draws in 9 games (league and cup) since February 2011 at Stamford Bridge.

Not bad at all.

You have to be happy with a win in London and we definitely deserved that one; we were the better side. We didn't dazzle tonight and our usual go-to guys for the big performances ( Sturridge, Coutinho and Mane ) were all, by their standards at least, a bit subdued tonight. Though for Coutinho and Mane, they had half an eye over their shoulders helping keep Hazard and Willian under control. Tonight was just a solid team performance and, for the most part, a job of quiet efficiency.

Hendo's finish was sublime, just perfect placement. It's just a pity he blotted his copy book by letting Matic run away from him, otherwise he might have been motm. I think I'd give tonight's shout for that to Lovren; he and Matip kept Costa really quiet and they dealt well with most of the balls into the box tonight, and of course the calm assured finish for his goal was a joy to witness.

Connection died just before Hendo scored. Got it back and we're 2 up out of nowhere! Despite the number of goals shipped we're defending better than last season. Even Migs is more assertive on crosses and Chelsea are big guys. Great result. Razor assist from Coutinho, two great goals, held our nerve away again. Happy.

In the cold light of day, as good as yesterday's result was it wasn't a huge surprise really given both our recent performances as SB and our record agfainst the top teams under Klopp. The real test of this current team is how well they do against smaller teams and in that respect the one performance against Burnley suggests nothing has really changed. I hope to be proved wrong.

Yes this has always been our problem, I heard them mention this on Sky Sports News today so it is a known problem with Liverpool FC and its been going on for years. Sadly it doesn't apply to Man United though, they generally beat us home and away.

I agree. We have Utd at home next month and face City at Anfield on the last day of the year in December. So we now have a run of games against teams we would probably finish above in the table most seasons.Without that meaning to sound arrogant as we've hardly pulled up trees often in the PL in recent years.
These games are the real bread and butter 3 pointers in terms of where we'll finish come May.Although a good collection of points from trips to Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea already has my confidence high for the rest of the season. These early points plus no European football could really help us during the run in.

It's not as bad as some think - we lost 4 tines to bottom half teams last season - but that's 4 too many. The issue usually is they are not as adventurous as better sides and we struggle to create.

My new top four:

Man City
Man United
Arsenal
Liverpool

I figured I'd post a new prediction for the top four. I might do it again throughout the season. I'm just doing top four so I don't have to worry about placing other top four candidates around the 7-5 positions.

As it currently stands, based on a few things, that's my top four.

Utd's display at Watford suggests Jose might be digging his own grave for the second job in a row

Weekend complete folks

If only we didn't have to wait another month to play them!!

Not on this forum but some social media suggesting it's all Rooney's fault and only a Fergie return could sort this out

I recall listening to five live last month after they won the first few games. Danny Mills as a pundit stated the fear factor was clearly coming back with them. One of their fans suggested every match would be like a training run as they swept to the title.

They could both say they meant City now I suppose

Irrespective of whether it's United or not, we need a few of the big guns to misfire to complement our decent results against our rivals - so it's a good weekend for us no doubt.

United will improve once Jose is brave enough to confront the elephant in the Roon...

Perfect final result today would be a Spurs draw, they would hop over Utd, but stay behind us. Perfect, but not mandatory!

Is that Rooney?

Would him being dropped mean Pogba got played in a position where he'd be more effective?

Problems and the pressure of price tags I'm glad Klopp doesn't have
