Looking at the table, we've got +7 GD, same as spurs, which is joinst-second best GD behind City, and we have 16 GF, to City's 18th. Not bad considering a lot of their goals come from a world class striker while we seem to play without an actual out-and-out striker half the time, and a lot of our goals coming from midfield.
The bluenoses losing is positive for us. And with Arsenal/Chelsea up next a draw would be ideal.
Fantastic performances all round today to be honest. The last 30 mins or so were quite sloppy as was the goal we conceded, but I can forgive that when we score 5 and utterly dominate the opposition from start to finish. 75% possession and 30 shots with the opposition having 1 chance and scoring it. Almost identical to the Burnley game except we showed more patience today and many of our shots were from inside the box after working openings.
So far the goals are coming from all over this season which is something we're not used to. Coutinho with another absolute belter to kill off any hopes of a Hull comeback.
Chelsea are dire tonight, need them to get some goals or Arsenal will pop above us.
Klopp is creating a silky smooth team for us now, it's stunning to see how he is bringing the best out of those many thought were cr*p a short while back. Long may he reign!
We've averaged 3 goals a game in all competitions this season and we've only conceded 4 goals in our last 6 matches.
If we can keep this up, we'll definitely be challenging for honours.
Was a bit more annoyed at conceding yesterday than I ought to have been. It's weird to complain about something when you romp home 5-1, but if we're not going to keep a clean sheet at Anfield to a 10 man Hull team, who are we going to keep a clean sheet against?
Other than that, what a spectacle. Can't help but be a little disappointed we didn't score more, but it was certainly a statement that we're more than capable of mullering a supposed "weaker" team. Such a dominant display, I can only hope we see us do this more often.

I went for Lallana and Mane this season in my fantasy team I brought in Mane after the first game as he looked great and is classed as a midfielder so it's like having an extra forward in midfield because he presses high up.
Both get involved in many goals so it's worked out alright so far
"This guy is my favourite Premier League player at the moment and a real pleasure to watch. Coutinho set up Liverpool's first two goals and then scored an absolute beauty.
I am really interested to know how Jurgen Klopp intends to keep the Brazilian fresh for Liverpool's domestic campaign. Coutinho will have to regularly fly halfway around the world to keep his international commitments and should he ever pick up a long-term injury, Liverpool can kiss goodbye to a top-four place. It's enough to keep a manager awake at night."
Totally disagree with his second paragraph, Klopp has developed a squad that always has dam good cover for any player who is injured etc. After the mess of last season with an injury list better than the on field list he's made that a priority. Sure we would miss any player, as would any team - but we won't be totally lost without any one of them now.

Agree 100%.
Coutinho's playing well but he's not carrying us by any means. Mane, Lallana and Firmino have all started the season well and that's why our attack is flourishing.
