If Sturridge can show more bursts of pace like the other night and be more like his old self, I've no doubt Klopp will do his utmost to keep him around.

As good as Firmino is in that '9' role for his work rate and link-up play, he's not the quickest so it's good to have a striking option who can worry defences in behind. Origi is there of course, but he's nowhere near as clinical as Sturridge, and the jury is still out on Ings.

Sturridge remains an enigma to me. I know everyone had him as motm the other day but he scuffed an easy chance when Origi set him up in the first half. Then in the second he totally missed the ball when right in front of goal when any kind of touch would have gone in, again after Origi set him up. Also his ego is so big that he had to take the free kick outside the box but that was off target too. Yes he scored 2 though and the keeper made a good save with a good effort of his in the first half palming it over for a corner and his strike rate for the club is good too so you have to give him a lot of credit, but I am not a total Studge fan - and like Klopp I would always have Firmino now over him now. In fact if Studge is 2nd choice that would make Origi 3rd choice when there is just one place available which I am not happy about considering how good Origi is. So team sleection is not easy as we have 3 very good strikers and Ings too who did well when he came on but its a good problem to have!!

I would much rather have the problems we have this season, than the problems we had last!

I think Palace away tomorrow could be the type of game where you guys lose the title. If you can pick up 3 points tomorrow, I might start to believe your time has come at last. It's a big test. For what it's worth, Paul Merson predicts a 1-1 draw.

I wouldn't. The form we're in, we should be beating teams like Palace. Especially if we want to be ambitious (which we do).

Moreno starting today. A lot of fans will moan, but his pace might actually be an asset to have against the likes of Zaha and Townsend. I'm backing him tonight.

Have to win to go level on points at the top again, with City and Arsenal.

Pressure's on - Spurs and United drop points so winning would be great plus we need to keep pace with City and Arsenal. Shame Mulberry is out - Moreno needs to be at it defensively today.

We need to win or draw to stay 3rd.

If we lose we drop below Spurs on GD as we are currently equal on +9.

We will of course win.

A win by 4 goals* takes us 2nd and a win by 7 goals take us top.

Maybe it is 5.

Remember what happened last time we tried to beat Crystal Palace by 20 goals at Selhurst Park?

Never again! I'll take a 1-0. Clean sheet, against Benteke of all players, would be amazing.

That goal has probably pissed me off more than any other we've conceded this season. Header back was a ****ing mess, and had Karius stayed on his line then Macarthur probably doesn't have the time to score. Awful.
