Great, Lallana ******
Don't you normally accompany this sort of thing with a laughing face?

Apparently Barca have no interest in signing Coutinho.

So no Lallana for the game, and Coutinho probably won't start. Damn international breaks!

Still confident we can get the 3 points or at least avoid defeat, which wouldn't be disastrous. With the options Klopp has now Sturridge and/or Origi can easily come into the side or Wijnaldum could be moved to a more advanced role like he played at Newcastle. I feel like the squad are on all the same page now and so there shouldn't be any drop in intensity, focus or style if we have to make changes.

I read that Hendo was also a little doubt, but only a little. I think he'll play.

It'll be a midfield three of Hendo, Can, Wijnaldum. Front three of Mané, Sturridge, Firmino. Or Mané, Firmino, Origi. I'll guess Sturridge.

If Henderson doesn't start, then it'll be Lucas, but then we'd miss Henderson.

Yup, a draw will do us, and it is, 1-1, and that is good news about Coutinho as well

Does anyone think Stevie G is making a mess of things in the later stages of his career? i get he did it for a big pay off but come on.

He got a lot of hate from his time at LA Galaxy for not performing well enough, and by god I just noticed that link about a managers job, what a disaster I hope there is nothing in that.

Come on lad you're 36 settle into a coaching roll at home.

Great chance to show we can be creative without Lallana on the pitch. Can has been improving every game.

Klopp says Lallana will be unavailable for 2-3 games. The third game is Leeds, so I don't know if that means he'll be available for Bournemouth away.

I think we'll survive. Southampton away, then Sunderland at home.

It's funny seeing a midfield three of Hendo, Can and Wijnaldum and think we're missing a key player.

I think he will return to manage Liverpool eventually.

Frustrating first half so far but we may still break them down.

City gone one up at Palace through the returning Toure, although they have lost Kompany to injury.

We've been in total control but Southampton are holding out well through a combination of Van Dijk defending like a lion and Romeu continually fouling with impunity. I had to laugh when Clattenburg gave him a "talking to" then refused to book him when he slid through the back of Wijnaldum literally 2 minutes later.

Anyway, still got 45 mins to win the game. Southampton aren't posing much of a threat for now although that could change. Perhaps it's a game for Sturridge to make an impact?

And now we've been denied a penalty. Clear pull back on Firmino by Van Dijk.

Not our day for ref's decisions but we still have time. Could be one of those games for the Studge.
