So no Lallana for the game, and Coutinho probably won't start. Damn international breaks!
Still confident we can get the 3 points or at least avoid defeat, which wouldn't be disastrous. With the options Klopp has now Sturridge and/or Origi can easily come into the side or Wijnaldum could be moved to a more advanced role like he played at Newcastle. I feel like the squad are on all the same page now and so there shouldn't be any drop in intensity, focus or style if we have to make changes.
Does anyone think Stevie G is making a mess of things in the later stages of his career? i get he did it for a big pay off but come on.
He got a lot of hate from his time at LA Galaxy for not performing well enough, and by god I just noticed that link about a managers job, what a disaster I hope there is nothing in that.
Come on lad you're 36 settle into a coaching roll at home.

I think he will return to manage Liverpool eventually.
We've been in total control but Southampton are holding out well through a combination of Van Dijk defending like a lion and Romeu continually fouling with impunity. I had to laugh when Clattenburg gave him a "talking to" then refused to book him when he slid through the back of Wijnaldum literally 2 minutes later.
Anyway, still got 45 mins to win the game. Southampton aren't posing much of a threat for now although that could change. Perhaps it's a game for Sturridge to make an impact?
