It seems we only get cleansheets when we don't score...

Disappointing in the end. Southampton got what they set out for. I expected a real end to end game like usual at St. Mary's but they were content to stick 10 behind the ball and kick and pull their way to a draw, so fair play to them for achieving that goal.

Shame Clattenburg was complicit by not awarding us a stonewall pen and allowing them to get away with their 'style' but that's all I expect these days.

I think a valid question should be raised as to why Origi was put on with 3 and a half minutes to go. Mane had gone quiet long before that. Coutinho was visibly tired also as shown in his final pass to Sturridge which was overhit.

Sunderland at home next so a good opportunity to get back to winning ways.

We actually played pretty well, but against 11 defenders it made it tough for us. Klopp knew this one was going to be tough though, and at least we didn't lose.

I think it's telling that they were happy to take a 0-0 at home.

With Arsenal also dropping two points today at Old Trafford, at least we're still 2 points ahead of them.

Oh, I forgot to mention one thing I can be happy about. A clean sheet.

Impressive that we dominated at Southampton, finishing not so impressive. Jet lag told I suspect. Oh well, take the point and the clean sheet and move on - let's hope rivals have European hangovers next week.

0-0 against the likes of United and Southampton is frustrating, but the one big positive I take from these games (other than the clean sheet) is that we're creating chances. On the surface, it looks like parking the bus is working against us, but dig a little deeper, and you can see that we're actually finding ways to break the bus down. Had our finishing been better, we would have beaten both of those teams.

Heck, we've already beaten the biggest "park the bus" team in the league in West Brom.

That's the beauty of having more players on the pitch that can create and score. Teams will still stop us if they abandon any consistent attacking intent (as Burnley, United and Southampton did) but unless we commit defensive suicide (Burnley) it almost guarantees us at least a point.

Teams are scared of us and are greatly reducing their chances of beating us by focusing on stopping us. I'll take that as 8 times out of 10 we'll win under those circumstances as we still create plenty of chances.

A draws not too bad, as the others around us are doing the same, drawing, getting beaten in games they should be winning, so can't complain really.

I was a bit gutted they won that game, still Chelsea's next two games are Spurs and Man City ours are Sunderland and Bournemouth. Both games will be tough but if we can pick up some points the others will take points off each other!

I see Liverpool have been linked with a move for Van Dijk in January, would be a great signing if you pull it off. 1. As he is one of the best centre-backs in the world and for me easily the best in England but 2 because he is probably the most similar player to Hummels playing today who Klopp worked with at Dortmund and he was a big part in how Dortmund played with his ability to carry the ball into midfield or pass it through oppositions midfields.

Van Dijk would probably knock Liverpool up a level as a team as no offence but Lovren and Matip couldnt lace his boots. He is superior in every aspect to them, better in the air, passer, faster, stronger, better defensively, dribbler, shot from distance, taking free kicks and one thing that goes unnoticed about him is he is a natural leader and captain, he is an organiser and talker and a winner who you can really tell hates to lose and is constantly talking to players or quick to let players know if they've let the team down.

I would prefer him to go to another team as i'd like to see him win Leagues and European Cups as an ex Celtic player but fair play if you do sign him as you will have stolen a march on other teams, I don't know how Guardiola was conned into signing Stones if he'd ever see Van Dijk playing a game before he should have spotted he is everything people claim Stones could be, Stones will never reach the level of Van Dijk.
