Really impressive first half. We look so much more balanced and compact compared to last week. We actually have a threat down the left.
Our movement is causing them problems. Coutinho is finding pockets of space and they don't know how to pick him up. Benteke missed a sitter but that happens. His overall play has been very good. I was worried about the pace in midfield but they have been very good. Getting into the right areas to block passes and can has deceptively quick acceleration . |

Quite a first half, definitely the best we've played so far this season.
On one hand we should be a goal down because I'd be disappointed if we had a goal chalked off like Ramsey's; that was too close to call. On the other hand, I think the challenge on Coutinho was a penalty and we've had a hatfull of decent chances. As far as I can remember, there hasn't even been a bomb scare moment from Lovren. Hope we continue to play as well and don't regret those missed opportunities. I would like to see a bit more of Firmino second half. ( oh and fair play to Cech; two great saves for him there ) |

Blimey, Rodgers has fed them 3 shredded wheat each before the game. Cracking first half. Best 45 minutes I've seen us play since Suarez left. Still, need to keep it up for another half and make the most of a below-par Arsenal.

Below par arsenal yes but unfortunately Cech is on top form, I feel this is gonna be one of them unlucky game's, us on top for most of the game, they score 85th min or something.

Ref trying to make up for the disallowed goal by giving Arsenal free kicks for nothing.

Milner looks tired. Moving very slowly.
Skrtel again playing someone onside due to being deeper than the other defenders. His natural instinct is always to drop deep and it's a problem. |

Game of two halves sums it up perfectly and I think a point was a fair reflection. Certainly would have taken that before the game.
Thought Gomez was brilliant, as was Clyne again. Milner solid too. |
