City 2-1 up, with about 7 minutes left, so as it stands, if we win tomorrow night, we'll be 2nd, point ahead of City, 3 ahead of Arsenal.

EDIT: FT, over to us

Bit of a cliché, but form goes out of the window when it comes to the Derby. We haven't won at Goodison since Kenny was in charge (thanks to Carroll and Suarez) so it's time we put that right.

I'm gonna go for 3-1. Origi to score a brace, and Firmino to notch one too. Lukaku to provide a late consolation for the blues.

.
Looking at it another way they have not won for the last 11 league meetings with their last victory being when Hodgson was in charge.

If they play as they did V Arsenal they may beat us but rarely have they played that well this season and hopefully we will not give them the chance to. I am quietly confident - a draw would not be a disaster as being a derby it is a hard fixture for us but really we have to go for a win and I think we can do it.

Every game is do or die until Chelsea drop or if points, could be it for the title.

So come on red men only a win will do.

Lovren aiming for a clearance that Klavan is already making and the subsequent scramble sees Firminho give away a free kick outside our box. Thankfully driven straight at our wall.

Got a bad feeling about Lovren already

I think we're seeing what a leading and calm influence Matip is at the back with him not playing tonight. Klavan doing very well so far but the composure isn't there from his team mates.

First real chance for us on 37mins and Origi fires wide.

Everton's initial high tempo has slowed down now and we're getting a foothold.

0-0 at the break.

Zero shots on target from either side. Apart from Everton's initial pace this has been very flat. Can still grind out three points in the second half though.

If was Evertons boss, i would want to know where this kind of effort is every week.
If they tried this hard in every game they'd be champions of the universe

Ha ha

The first 35minutes anyway as they've been asleep since then.

Unfortunately so have our strikers.

Loren with the first yellow card. Another excuse for Klopp to sub him though

Mane's run on goal helps Baines and Stekelenberg injure each other

Terrible challenge from Barkley, could've been a straight red if the ref saw it.

Shocking poor stop and start game.

Lucky if we can come out with a draw.

Sick tackle how is it not a red.

Then Lukaku tries to goad Lovren into a second yellow in the aftermath.
