Iago Aspas is joint-third top goalscorer in La Liga (with Ronaldo) on 10 goals (2 pens, 3 FK).
Only Messi and Suárez have more league goals, who are both on 12. Sign him up, Jurgen! |

Klopp: Quote:
“I can say we don’t want to convince players with money, we want to convince them with the way we go.''
“We want to have players who are ready to develop and it’s not a message for the winter transfer window, it’s a message for the next few years. We want to convince players about the special character of the club. “At the end the players should know they can earn really serious money here, reasonable money here, but we will not go nuts. “Because we believe that if someone needs to be convinced by money then at one point when you really need character you will not get it.” The transfer window is set to open in just over a week with the majority of Liverpool’s players expected to stay put, and Klopp thinks there is no better club for them to develop. “I would say at the moment that Liverpool is a really good place to be for a player, to get the best out of your career and all that stuff,” “We said a few times ago nobody has to leave Liverpool because of money. I have rose-tinted glasses but I would say it is the best place to develop. “Maybe there are a few clubs in world football who can play better and if you can go there, these few clubs, yes then do it. But for all the rest this should be the best place to be.” |

This is a fantastic quote. I love everything about this. |

Klopp's Christmas message to Liverpool fans: Quote:
I would like to take this opportunity to wish Liverpool supporters around the world a very Merry Christmas.
For us, we will continue our work towards another important match against Stoke City by training at Melwood this morning, so in that respect it is a regular day for us because it is not allowed that we take our eyes off preparing for the game. But after training, it will of course be home to our families and friends to spend time with them, which is very important for all of us staff and players. Personally speaking, this will be the second Christmas myself and my family have spent in Liverpool and how welcome we have been made to feel by everybody connected with the club makes us feel very much a part of the ‘LFC Family’. We have witnessed on many occasions over the last 15 months just what it means to be a part of this special family, most recently on Friday when we visited Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in the city to deliver gifts and spend time with some of the patients. We all know how important it is for us all to be as one, not just at this time of year but at all times, if we are to achieve our football goals. So, to all of our fans, I wish you and your families a wonderful Christmas Day and I am already looking forward to seeing some of you again at Anfield on Tuesday. You’ll Never Walk Alone |

Probably paper talk but I'm all for signing Andrew Robertson from Hull - suits us.

With all the teams around us winning, it makes tomorrow's game a must-win. Bit of extra pressure on the lads but I'm sure we'll cope.
Very disappointed to hear about Firmino. Utterly stupid thing to do. |
