The thing is Sturridge would also have a say. If he didn't think he was ready I would like to think he would say so. It's a big plus if he is fit to start.

I think Benteke can be a great partner for Sturridge.
They would make a great partnership

Sturridge and Benteke would be lethal with the right midfield behind them.

Well, looks like this is a make or break match for BR, all guns in that are fit.

Be interesting to see how B and S gel, hope they do.

Good to see but typical that no one is showing the match, Stupid time to have this match anyway, 4pm on a Sunday when everyone else is showing the Man U match. Any ideas how to watch this? Hoping some sort of stream appears on XBMC

I'm just so pleased to see Sakho and Sturridge starting, hopeful for this one now today. Praying those idiots leave off the banners in the sky, so wrong to be doing that.

This match was never gonna be on sky today. Its only a Sunday game because of Europa league.

Its probably the team I would have picked so lets hope they play well - the 2 up front will be a step forward and it'll be interesting to see how they link up. The midfield mix again will be of interest.

Gomez left out = a shame as he has done quite well and is likely a key player for LFC but it is not as if he does not have time on his side. Firmino as sub? - maybe we expected him to do better but again in time he will be an asset we hope. Sakho back is good news, shame Ings still not getting in but again I hope he will eventually get a chance - as a striker please BR!! Origi not in at all - you can only play 18 - altho my son who watched the Bordeaux game said he was not great. Lalllana and Ibe are good players but neither are that on form so right for them to be on the bench.

Anyway its a decent line up so lets hope we play well and win!!

Glad to see moreno in as well. I really like Gomez but long term he can't be starting left back

So 17 mins in. According to flash scores Norwich have 60% possession and we haven't had a single shot yet...

Tettey somehow gets away without a yellow. Nice to see Anthony Taylor in a lenient mood this afternoon, except when it's a Liverpool player committing the offence (Milner).

Yeah, that irked me too. Tettey and Milner committing the exact same crime. Milner booked, Tettey nothing. Way to be consistent ref.

We've played a bit better, but still wanna see more. Moreno has been outstanding, all our best stuff has come down that left hand side. Milner on the other hand has been really poor. Sturridge will no doubt be subbed off at some point due to his lack of playing time, but he's been playing really well, I wouldn't be in a rush to do so to be honest.
