What is interesting is going back to the start of this thread - 3 months ago, and seeing all the same opinions on us being said then. This post 58: -
As far as the owners are concerned the only people with a right to talk about "our club" are those who own it. Fans are supporters, thats all. I share your frustration with the current situation but I direct my fire towards those men who get paid huge sums of money, put on a LFC shirt and then do nothing to earn either when they are on the pitch. Owners are owners, and they do what capitalists do. But players are paid to do a job. Too many of our current lot barely turn up. - by Alan29 told it exactly as it is, like it or not. There are masses of complaints right now from fans of several clubs, look at Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, even Man United was knicker twisting pre their wunderkid showing, City aren't romping it either, as expected - in fact, it really is to me a case of too much money being bestowed on less than average players, who play for the ££££'s and not for the shirt anymore. And something most clubs are guilty of right now is lack of passion, the quality and watchability of the PL now is dire and boring as hell in the main. Too many players falling over for fake fouls, and other forms of cheating, are wrecking the 'sport'. |

For any that have a dream of Klopp, discard them here.
There would be no more suitable a candidate, but someone has warned FSG off him - allegedly! |

I have spent the w/e watching the rugby world cup.
Passion, pride, professionalism, honesty, and courage in bucket loads. Brilliantly entertaining. All the things the PL is lacking at the moment. |

I wouldn't hold much stock in things reported by journos currently, There has been a damage limitation and propaganda edge to the last few weeks with certain members of the press coming out to defend and downplay our current situation, Obviously people at the club trying to preserve their status quo.

I know, hence my use of the word 'allegedly'.
![]() It would be extremely foolish though to pass on Klopp, ignoring his style of play, impressive CV and pulling power just because 1 guy who may or may not have worked with him doesn't like him. For all we know, it could be El-Hadji Diouf trying to pull a fast one on us after his racism accusation floundered as hard as his career. |

In recent years, Liverpool have had three chances to spend wisely, on each occasion they have failed, first of all selling Torres for a huge fee, then it was Suarez, and just recently it was Sterling.
Each time it was a chance to really get someone good to the club, a game changer if you will, but instead, each time they didn't manage to do that, and this is the result of that process. Not many clubs receive those sort of fees for any player, nevermind three of them, so they were chances missed to really push on upwards. Milner was a player who thanks to those around him at City looked better than he actually was or is. It is a long road back from here, but with much careful use of transfer funds, they can get a lot closer to the top four than they currently are. ![]() Suarez with Balotelli/Lambert ![]() Sterling with ...well who knows really as so many are being played out of place covering his role |

Lazar Marković assisted a Nani goal for Fenerbahçe this weekend...
A Liverpool player setting up a Nani goal isn't something I'd imagine me reading... But if he can make Nani look good then he should be here assisting Benteke. I'm sure Dirk will be eternally grateful to him.

Shelvey would have been a better option than Milner. So why get rid?
One of the many signs that Rodgers is clueless I don't blame him for leaving though as he needed to play football. He was just unlucky that at the time our midfield was very good and he couldn't break into the team. |

The club are not sacking the manger anytime soon and nor should they. Let's see where we are at xmas and review.
No doubt we need to win games and score more goals but sacking the manager now screams panic and it's really not at that stage yet. |

The Mirror suggest Neymar wants Barca to sign Coutinho next summer.
Oh great, another mass profit for FSG to celebrate making on a player.Whilst we probably sign a shite replacement. |

You do know that Rodgers wanted shelvey to stay. Shelvey said this himself.

It's understood that Christian Benteke has reached an agreement with Daniel Sturridge to swap shifts, with Christian Benteke to spend some time in the treatment room.

Then I hope they put the two Danny's together up front and see what that brings us. Be a good idea to trot that out for 1/2 hour tomorrow - just to see how it goes.
![]() If they both play up front together they could be quite dangerous. |

From what I have seen of Ings I really rate him he has fire and passion, As Long as the moron in charge can be stopped from playing him as a wingback or a goalkeeper that is.

I've liked Ings from what I've seen so far. I commented on a RedmenTV video a while ago that I think the fans will end up liking him in a similar way we did with Kuyt.
He just needs to play, and be played properly. Benteke's injury is a good opportunity for him, and hopefully he takes some pressure off Sturridge who really should not be rushed back. |

Since when did Neymar decide which players Barcelona sign?
Barca will be looking at the jewel in the crown and that's Pogba. ![]() I see Eva Carneiro has left Chelsea.Might be a good thing to get a new club Doctor in to sort out our injuries.Although the players might be tempted to try and spend time with her. |
