I knew Lukaku would score today, I just knew it. Our defenders just can't defend against powerful strikers...which is pathetic really considering they are all quite powerful players themselves.

Probably a fair scoreline but extremely frustrating
Lukaku normally scores against us, sadly. Hope that's his lot now though.

Can could cost us point here.

That was a daft yellow and a dreadful clearance for their goal.

Can isn't a natural defender, he should be in midfield.
Maybe but Germany play him at right back. Just saying.

These games usually pass Coutinho by but I hope he can conjure something up today

Slight difference in management quality between the World Champions and LFC at present LOL.

Barkley is so up for this that he's either going to score a screamer of a winning goal or pick up that second yellow soon.

How was that a yellow for Lucas?
A few home decisions from Atkinson now.

More bizarre subs bingo from Brendan as Lallana is on for Ings.

We have been so poor in this second half. Not created anything at all.

When we concede we seem to lose all confidence that we can score again.

Lucas should be off, lucky boy.
Not that the first should've been a booking.

Barkley really pushing for a place in the GB diving squad for Rio 2016 this afternoon.

I can't remember Sturridge being so quiet in an LFC match.

Barkley is a sly, evil player, that seems to have the ref in his pocket. No problems at all with any other Everton players tactics, but he is shocking.

By no means a perfect match but on the positive side the heads didn't go down as much as most of the season, There was some passion, Pity the creativity isn't there.

Good result but the performance was very dire.

It doesn't help BR at all. I think that may well be his last Merseyside Derby. Any other manager have an unbeaten record in a Merseyside Derby?

Being a darling of the English media also helps him.

1-1 again. Reasonably happy given we were under siege during injury time but would've liked all three with them missing stones and Coleman.

At the end I was glad it was all over. Our passing was just woeful in the second half and we never threatened them at all. I'm glad our defence managed to hold it together and Mingolet had two or three good stops to get us a point.

Still another underwhelming performance and now more pressure on our next game away at Tottenham.

Bordeaux, Norwich, Carlisle, Sion and now Everton. All 1-1 after taking the lead (through either Ings or Lallana). All the goals conceded were through calamitous defending.

It's not gonna look good for us if this theme continues. We need a few clean sheets, preferably starting with Tottenham.

Next five league games:

Tottenham (A)
Southampton (H)
Chelsea (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Man City (A)

I'm not confident that we will win any of those games. Really worrying times, we need to start winning games...

I just hope that the rumours coming from the Bosnian press are true Klopp and Buvac having signed a 3 year deal.
