I just hope that the rumours coming from the Bosnian press are true Klopp and Buvac having signed a 3 year deal.
I think the fact that the only news outlet reporting it is from Bosnia should tell you the legitimacy of that. Not that I don't wish it were true mind.

At least a point keeps the overconfident blues at bay. I know a few Bitters in work who were CONVINCED that they were going to absolutely hammer us. I'll have to put up with their crying regarding "how lucky we were" and no doubt some crap about Lucas not getting sent off, but a draw should knock them down a peg now.

Much better first half than second. Would of taken a point away at goodison before hand.

Well at least it wasn't a loss, I suppose that's one positive to come out of it.

Good result but the performance was very dire.

It doesn't help BR at all. I think that may well be his last Merseyside Derby. Any other manager have an unbeaten record in a Merseyside Derby?
"very dire" - really? It was a typical derby which we competed well in - Benteke's physicality wouldn't have helped. Too frenetic for Coutinho as usual.

Next five league games:

Tottenham (A)
Southampton (H)
Chelsea (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Man City (A)

I'm not confident that we will win any of those games. Really worrying times, we need to start winning games...
Neither am i, and Chelseas playing utter crap at the minute, it says a lot

The most important thing to take from today is that you do not mess with Sakho.

To be fair, we could win 70,000 million game in a row 10-0 and you'd still be negative.

About time. Surprised, didn't think it would happen.

Never like to see a manager get the sack during the season but this is best for everyone involved. It had to be done and should have been done at the end of last season.

I did say before the season started he'd be gone by christmas, so be better to get someone in now before it starts.

Thanks Brendan for 2013/14. I sincerely hope he does well at his next club, whoever that is.

I am glad he is gone but it's bafflingly he was given money to spend and was not sacked in the summer .

With so many managers on the brink it had to be now IF we are going for the best managers available.

Sunderland's a possibility. I'm quite fond of the Mackems, so if he was to go there AND keep them up, that'd be a very cool thing to happen.
