Does anyone what is going on with them. Their first album was brilliant and still play it all the time. The 5th and last single " Cant stop the love" was tipped to be huge but totally flopped . Does anyone else like them?? I hope they return soon with a new album and would love to see them on tour as well.

They were dropped by Sony. Their album was essentially a flop. They're not likely to have much of a comeback if any. Stranger things have happened though.

Dropped really? The album went top ten as well and the singles apart from the last one charted well. That is a shock.

They release too many singles (four) before the album dropped. The fifth single wasn't even given a proper release. The decision to drop them was probably made then.

So while the album may have gone top 10, it's overall sales were very low and it disappeared from the chart almost immediately.

Thanks for the link.

So the record company messes up the album release by releasing 4 singles before the album then drop the act?? . That's fair isn't it.

No... but that's modern record companies for you.

They should've had the album ready to go before they released Trouble in the September - with a full promo campaign prior - and then dropped the album October/November.

If Trouble was more of a promo single and Bravheart - released in the February - was to be their first single proper then the album should have dropped March/April.

Then they should have released WTTJ and Louder. The fifth single probably wouldn't have been a big success anyway but if they chose to promote it then a proper single should have been released and not just a random video.

If it still wasn't a success then, fair enough, drop NJ.

Braveheart was a great dance song. I get the feeling it was probably offered to somebody else first and turned down and that's how the girls got their hands on it.

It's a pity they've been dropped, but I guess there wasn't enough money behind them. Can't fault the girls, they always seemed charming.

Dropped ?! Thats a real shame as i thought their album was great, though releasing 'cant stop the love' was a stupid idea as that song is particularly crap and probably the worst on the album.

They would have been better off releasing 'bad man' with a huge video, or 'sleepless in london' - which i just love!

Looking at their twitter though they still seem very active, performing and 'writing', so who knows? are they definitely unsigned?

Both them and Stooshe had potential but their wild attitude seemed contrived and fake. Onto the next big thing ascusual.

That's a shame as although I'm not really their target audience, I thought that Braveheart and Louder were both great singles. I wouldn't want to be a pop artist today if even their level of success stills leads to you being dropped by a label! Perhaps they should have signed to The Saturdays label instead!

Their album is surprisingly very good. Can't Stop The Love, Future X Girl, Bad Man and So Alive are all great tracks
