I've been listening to a lot of his stuff lately. Other than his well known stuff, just wondering what everyone else's favourite songs are? Been listening to Childhood quite a lot and it really is such a sad song and hints at how lonely he must have been growing up.

I can't think of many lesser known songs from when he was alive, I do like Childhood though. Not sure if Jam counts but it's not one of his biggest hits so I will put it down.

I like a lot of the songs released after his death. Hollywood Tonight and Monster I really like.

We've Had Enough
Little Susie

My favourite Jacksons/Jackson5/Motown solo songs:

Monster is sung by an impersonator. As is Breaking News and Keep Your Head Up. Those three songs are totally fake.

But Hollywood Tonight is 100% legit and is a great song.

They are still his songs? As in written/produced with Jackson just not completed? I still like the song though.

Just want to add the entire Xscape album to my list as well. I suppose it's not exactly underrated seeing as it's done really well, but obviously it was released after his death. I think it's a fantastic album and just goes to show that even though he hasn't released anything for years, he still had it and he still had the material. Only issue I have is whether or not he would have actually wanted any of the songs on the album released. He was a perfectionist after all.

Most of his singles from Dangerous were sublime IMO. Who Is It, Give in to Me, Jam, In the Closet... none of them were huge hits, but they are all brilliant. Who Is It is the best track he ever released IMO.

If we're talking non-singles... Dangerous, Tabloid Junkie, Threatened, Little Susie, Is It Scary, Morphene, We've Had Enough, XScape.... so many.

Dancing Machine and Working Day and Night are great ones that aren't played as often.

Although both of these were included when I saw Thriller Live and sounded great.

The whole show was amazing. You should go if you get the chance.

give in to me is superb - Love Slash's guitar work on it too. That whole Dangerous album bridged the rock/pop divide superbly

I'm a huuuggeee fan, and I couldn;t believe that some tunes haven't been mentioned yet so i couldn't resist but to give you my list

in no particular order, and no distinct limit these are my favvies:

Leave me alone
Lady in my life
Human nature
Off the wall
Another part of me
PYT
Dirty Diana
They don't care about us
Liberian girl
I can't help it
Wanna be starting something
Get on the floor
Baby be mine
Dancing machine (Jackson 5)
Money
Who is it
Stranger in Moscow
Dangerous
Working day and night (can't believe I forgot to add that)

there is way more than this, in fact, nearly all his songs are great, but these ones have always stood out to me more so than most. In fact, the above is possibly the quintessential MJ playlist right there.
