The Sixth Doctor turns 72 today sorry if this thread is a bit late ive only just found out

Please share your experiances with meeting Colin at conventions or his time as the Doctor

Happy Birthday, Colin!

I've met him several times and was even his guest liaison during a convention in Llandudno in the mid-90s on a glorious hot summer's day showing him the sights as I was local there, what to do, what to see, best tea rooms and pubs away from the con, quiet spots, etc.
I've met many DW actors and crew over the years from being involved in conventions and I have to say that Colin wins hands-down as being the nicest and most pleasant person from the DW family I've met.
It's a very strange feeling to drive a car and have a Doctor in your passenger seat!

Absolutely. He's a genuinely lovely bloke. Very kind hearted.
I've met him and chatted to him on many occasions back in the day, conventions, charity collections, more informal gatherings. Not the slightest bit stuffy or standoffish. Always a pleasure to spend time with and he's good at getting a round of drinks in too! A terrific chap.
