Lorna Fitzgerald played a blinder in the live week and really showed potential for leading storylines . Shes heen there 9 years and weve seen her grow into an attractive young woman and a cracking actress. I feel shes now able for a big storyline like jacqueline gets that will put her on the front and highlight that shes now an adult. What do we think?

Yes i agree she does.

think they need to move her away from nice doormat Abi with a penchant for killing animals.

I would like to see her stick up for herself more like the live week and with Lauren, I think when it all comes out about Ben being Gay would be a good platform to project Abi to the next level.

Nice Friendly Abi with a ruthless bitchy streak sounds quite interesting.

She is definitely capable of carrying off what they give her

Yes she does. Abi upsets Bobby and gets killed off

With her family gone and Carol's family gone it would be great if she moved in with Carol and developed their relationship as aunt/niece. Now she obviously has to leave Ben she'll need somewhere to stay and some new, fresh material to work with.

Great idea. And yes she does need a defining storyline. I still think an anorexia plot (which I have been saying for years). Now is a perfect time for it to evolve. She's always felt in the shadows of her stunning older sister and now in her mind she is repulsive to her boyfriend and she knows he is playing away with Paul.

I always thought they should have put her in university insteead of failing exams each year which became a bore ! Ee never shows characters going to uni and i think this would be an interesting story

I always found Lorna awful but she absolutely killed it in the live week! It showed her potential and tha she needs a big storyline, I'd love an issue storyline such as an eating disorder (good suggestion there Stube)!

Abi is much better used than Whitney, Lola and Liam.

She may not have the most interesting/biggest storylines, but she's a solid 'B' character, whereas the others seem to have had one or two central storylines before being nothing more than extras until their next storyline.

Lorna definitely deserves more, but as my favourite character, I'm just glad she's not completely neglected like half the cast is. DTC does seem quite keen on her considering she's not a Carter; it's just a shame he's started changing her character beyond recognition

It could be combined with her going to university too. Peer pressure and what not.
