Masood really is...
A knob. He really is. He's such a flawed individual yet he so often feels he has the right to judge, moralise and dominate when it comes to his grown up children.
He never learns, never grows. It's just embarrassing when he gives it the strict Muslim father routine. |

Maybe that what's the upcoming storyline is about: Masood brings Roya back to Walford but drives Tamwar and Shabnam away.

Tamwar seems the grown up in the Masoods house.

I used to love his character but lately he's been doing my head in. I'm finding his reactions to situations so predictable and tiring. He needs to get a grip. Nothing against the actor, though - I think Nitin is great.

Masood might be better occupied by visiting his own young son a bit more often

Agreed - the only voice of reason in that house! Wish he was more than a market inspector and an example of someone being young and successful / further educated in the show. (Nothing against market inspectors at all, btw.)

As if an over emotional stranger would be allowed to take a child. Let's see the writers screw this up!

I've loathed Masood for years and thought Tamwar was more of a grown up than him - until tonight. I hated the way they both gave Shabnam the silent treatment when she came home to ask if they'd be home for lunch then the way they were making sly digs at her in front of Kush, Stacey & Martin.

Isn't that almost every character in EE?

He really is being a knob to Shabnam, he's got no right to put on such a performance and try to shame her for having the baby adopted.
