Well done to them. However, it makes my blood boil the way the Tories are treating the sick and disabled. These people can hardly help being sick and disabled, so why the need to punish them? It is sick and vile, seeing the sick and disabled being treated like they have done something wrong.

I agree. The Tories are happy to help the rich get richer, but target the vulnerable. It is sick. I have so much respect for these famous people, who speak out for the ones who can't.

I applaud these guys. I'm very close with someone who's disabled, and she and most of her disabled friends are currently living in permanent terror of having their support taken away, and their lives reduced to 4 walls and absolute dependency. It's a complete disgrace.

I've signed anyway. And I swear I'll chain myself to the railings of Downing Street if this assault on people with disabilities goes on.

Agreed. By definition people using the Independent living fund havebeen assessed as having some of the highest needs so reducing their financial support in particular feels so wrong and shameful.

Agreed. The tories are cruel bastards. Similarly the scummy Daily Mail are always going on about people on benefits and calling them "cheats" and "scroungers" when the Daily Mail top brass doesn't pay tax! The tories are in my opinion responsible for suicides by people who have had the sickness & disability money stopped. I think some people on here are on sickness or disability benefits and some have depression and anxiety. The constant terror and I mean terror that your benefits will be stopped when you've done nothing wrong is dreadful.

Why deprive those who have little of the little that they have, rather than deprive those who have much of a little that they have, and that they wouldn't miss? The obvious answer is that those who have little are unlikely to vote Tory.
