Any hardcore funk/soul/RnB fans here?
I'm big into soul, funk and recently have become more interested in 90's/00's RnB and I just wondered if anybody shared those interests at all? Would like to learn more about RnB and what albums are good etc if anybody would want to help me out. Im thinking along the lines of Jagged Edge - walked right out of heaven, Aaliyah - One in a million, and other, quite interesting RnB tracks that have quite unusual and funky basslines and rythems to them

Have you ever listened to Musiq Soulchild? He's one of my favourite neo-soul artists of all time. Also see Ginuwine and 112 as they're from the same sound as Jagged Edge etc.
There's a new UK artists called Kyle Lettman too who is making some amazing music. Check out this interview he did https://youtu.be/8gsGjmPgfmI

Funk has been popular for decades now.
I like it performed by musicians who can really play. One of my favourites from over 20 years ago. Jeff lorber. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frMQYIgD9tA |
