Female Synth Pop Singers - Shura, Billie Black, Bjork, Little Boots
Wanted to start a thread for some of the amazing electronica female vocalists that are out there at the moment We seem to be having quite a few of them at the moment.. Check out this by Jana Josephina, Perfect example of the style: https://youtu.be/y99gRowDrOo Quote:
The conflict lies in our midst – Jana Josephina passionately fathoms the glorious contradictions that sleep in all of us. Dreamdancer is the first single from the upcomimg album Contradictions: dance-pop, featherly ripping through, rising from an artistically boarded ocean of electronic-beats and synthie-waves produced by Joe Cross (Hurts, Zoot Woman).

I'm a huge fan of Shura. I just discovered her music and it's great!
I really like this song Touch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2AOjb9HW2E I'm not sure if I would lump Bjork in there though. I love her, but she's kind of her own genre. She's not as poppy as the other ones mentioned. |
