Try adding them to your basket, they come up unavailable and they're not available in any of the supermarkets anymore.
They're still advertised on the official Aunt Bessies website though??

We love M&S Triple cooked chips. Best frozen chips we have tasted.

Everything seems to be oven chips these days, a few years back, you could get crinkled cut chips for frying, but not now. Getting more difficult to get normal chips for frying as well.

Not really for me as I do not fry much these days, in fact I do not even have a deep fryer any more, I normally cut my own chips and cook them in the air fryer. I have crackled blade to cut chips if I want them crinkled.

It was my next door neighbour that was saying that she can not get normal frying crinkled cut chips.

That's where I got mine from so I can't really comment on other stores as I haven't looked in those locally.

The best ones are the ones you make yourself, peel some spuds, cut them into chips, spread them on a backing tray and spread some olive oil on them and cook,

I know that takes a bit of time and yes I do use frozen chips now and again.

I buy frozen precisely so I don't have to make them myself!

Has anyone had the Mccain Gourgeous chips?

Was quite tempted to buy some but £3 for 500g is a bit much

I find the best method is to peel and chip the potatoes, put them into a pan of cold water and bring to the boil. As soon as they start to boil drain and dry them and give them a good covering of olive oil plus salt and pepper. Whack them in the oven at gas7 for about half an hour. Lovely and crispy.

So roasters in a shape of a chip. Well almost. I do soak them in water to get rid of the starch, I always put the salt and pepper on after. but that is just me.

I normally use the air fryer these days, the chips are yummy.

I had a shock last week, a friend was over here on Saturday and my next door neighbour was cooking chips, ( home made chips) we could smell them. I said to my friend, home made chips, nothing like them. She turned around and said she have never ever had home made chips. I thought everyone in the 30 years and over age group would have had home made chips.
This is something I have to rectify, next time she come here, she is going to have home made chips.
