Sarah Harding to go solo;signs to Sony Music
New Logo and judging by her instragram we are getting an EP
![]() The chances of her doing well are limited being the least popular Aloud member at the moment however with her profile raised due to Coronation Street i feel the next few months is the right time for her to release. Sign up to mailing list here and if you notice at the bottom it says Sony Music so i take that as confirmation of her inking some sort of deal with one of their small labels ![]() Exciting! for me as a GA obsessive.

Great news, I just hope it materializes. Aren't Sony Records affiliated with Xenomania? I'd love Sarah to record some of Amelia Lily's unreleased tracks. The Xenomania tracks Sarah recorded for the St. Trinian's soundtrack were really good.

Good luck to Sarah but she's leaving it a bit late to be going solo, she really should have done it 5 year ago when Girls Aloud were at their peak. I don't hold out much hope for Sarah especially when Nadine and Nicola never achieved great success with their albums.
Tbh if I was Sarah I would stick to the acting and hope something comes out of this Corrie role. |

I agree should have been earlier but if the song is a hit song it wont matter anyway.

I like Sarah and hope she does well. I haven't kept up to date though and had no idea she was in Coronation Street! How long ago did she first appear in it and how long is she supposed to be in it for? What sort of character is she playing? I like her St Trinian's Songs too. I wonder why it's taken her so long to finally launch a music career. Also what's happening with Nicola Roberts, is she releasing a 2nd album? I love her first one.

![]() She's turning up as the wife of Tracy Barlow's ex husband. I think they both return for Deirdre's funeral.. |

Hope Sarah does well, probably my favourite member of GA (along with Nadine). I actually really like Sarah's vocals, particularly on tracks like The Promise and Life Got Cold (I also love her closing bit to Whole Lotta History).

I don't think she can sing well at all, so part of me wonders why she is bothering, especially so long after Girls Aloud were active... but on the other hand if she enjoys making music and isn't too bothered about chart positions and such, then fair play. |

I dont think she is gonna go for the 'singy' ballad type of genre. I am expecting clubby dancy pop with some rock influences - thats Sarah to a T. I wouldn't say Radio 1 are the be end of it all. I can't see her doing amazing considering the other members of the band who are more well known and popular flopped but you never know...
