I was surprised as others have said when they first started getting friendly, but I rather like them now, they seem to bring out the best in each other, plus they sure do have a chemistry together.

The most ironic thing is, in late 2010/early 2011 both Carla and Nick wanted Leanne and Peter to split, so Nick could have Leanne and Carla have Peter. I recall them having a conversation about it in the factory how they both 'lost'. Both of them got their wish in 2012 but alas it didn't work out for either, so now despite them falling out over the factory which lead to Nick leaving, they are now sleeping with each other.

I like liked him with Carla but did feel a bit sorry for Erica. But he will probably end up with neither of them.

At the time when Nick wanted Leanne and Carla wanted Peter but Peter and Leanne were together I remember thinking Nick and Carla - the two rejects - would probably end up together. However, as you've said, that didn't happen and both actually got their desired partner and married them with both marriages ending in divorce a couple of years later. Now we're back to square one with Nick and Carla about to become a couple, next we'll probably have Peter and Leanne reuniting if Peter comes back, it really is the most complicated love-square.
