I have...(tablets wise)
iPad 2, IPad Mini (first gen) Lg gpad 8.3, Lenovo 2 (10.1), Sony z3.
The iPads are very slow now, on ios 8.3, gave the iPad 2 to my dad so he can watch Sky Sports App on it (I have the same on my Mini...only £4.99 for us both to be able to watch Sky Sports even though we are miles away from each other (its the iPhone App "x2").
Other than watching sky sports, I only really use the iPad mini these days for its better, in my opinion, email App, just seems to work much easier than on my android tablets.
However both are really slow at browsing now, almost unusable really. I do think Apple have a kind of 3 year use on their products, they tend to bring in IOS updates that older machines can't cope with.
Anyhow, the three android tablets I have I actually picked up for less than the price of an iPad air 2...
(Z3 Compact tablet was £199, the G pad £109, and the Lenovo Yoga 2 10.1 was a ridiculously cheap £50 (had no box or charger though)......the g pad in a Tesco deal last year, the other two were in John Lewis " returns"...
Anyhow, I would say any if those three tablets are very close to an IPad experience, the Z3 particularly, which is my go to device.
The Z3 has great battery (like iPads do), is slick, etc, is very powerful and has front facing stereo speakers and Ps4 compatiblity, amongst other great features.
However the one thing I find on the Z3, is, although it's email client works pretty well, it doesn't always produce images in emails correctly...which is really odd.
Two years ago I would have always said that Apple make the best tablets, as they did, by far, now though, There's some really good android ones, in my personal experience the Z3 is the best on the market for value and features.
