Ugh I know. My disappointment when it was announced Jai was here to stay! I was looking forward to his comeuppance, nothing against the actor just that the character has no redeeming features anymore.

The worst characters for me are Jai,Megan,Rachel,Rishi,Brenda,Pete,James,Emma.My favourite characters are Robron obviously and Ross,Cain,Chas,Vic,Andy,Moira,Debbie,Paddy,Kerry and Charity.The rest I can take or leave really

Why is it that we don't know anything about Danny and Ryan's contracts? Why mention some and not others?

Should we be worried?

I don't think they ever announce every time an actor has renewed their contract though, so I don't think we should be worried. Plus, I'm pretty sure Emmerdale know which characters people will be worried about dying in the Summer, and are gonna keep deadly quiet about if they've renewed or not for that fact.

Emmerdale have tweeted out asking if Robron belong together, with an arty version of the pic of them at the hotel....

Interesting i suppose given that Robron doesn't really exist in the show at the moment...

Unsurprisingly, all the people responding on FB are saying no. And some are saying Aaron should be with Finn. Like seriously? They must love dullness then & their favourites are Jai, Pete etc.

There is already too much information out there about who is leaving and who's staying as it is.
From the three love triangles, we know what happens to Jai and Pete, and Leyla's fate has been heavily hinted. Now that Charlie is pregnant in real life, Debbie's future is somewhat predictable too. The last thing ED want is anything about Robert/ Aaron/ Chrissie to get out early.

Someone mentioned earlier about characters & who they love/can't stand/take or leave. Mine are:

Love: Robron (duh!), Paddy, Chas, Vic, Ross, David, Alicia, Leyla, Carly, Cain, Charity, Vic, Chrissie, Bernice, Val, Eric, April, Diane, Rhona.

Take or leave: Harriet, Laurel, Marlon, Bob, Andy, Vanessa, Priya, Rakesh, Zak, Lisa, Pearl, Lawrence, Lachlan, Belle, Ashley, Jimmy, Debbie, Rishi.

Can't stand: Jai, Pete, Emma, James, Finn, Adam (sorry), Sam, Rachel, Tracey, Brenda, Doug, Rodney, Kirin, Megan.

Honestly the only person i can't stand watching at the moment is Jai. There are others i don't have much interest in but find harmless enough. It's only him that i would actively like to not watch anymore.

What I find interesting is that whenever Emmerdale posts something Robron related on twitter or on their YouTube channel or anywhere else, they receive so many more hits than they do regarding other storylines. Huge amounts more.

Yet, despite this, I feel that they have short changed the Robron story. Emmerdale have not given it the same care and attention that they have given their other big stories ... compare and contrast with the Laurel alcoholism or the Jai rubbish.

Just seen Duncan's repsonse to Andy's question. "They have big scenes coming up soon." That's surely the Aaron saving Robert stuff right?

That is what i assumed he meant yes! Hopefully they are good scenes and theres a spark or something at it's the start of their story kicking of again.

I think they didn't do certain things well for sure, but other stories need air time and I have a feeling that they are going to be probably the major story to the end of the year, from the build up, summer and fall out. Even if one of them ends up dying then the fall out with the other will be huge.

I can't shake this niggle though that one of the boys even Aaron could kark it.
Danny tweeted something a few weeks back which was odd, something about life being too short, can't remember what exactly, but it was around the time they would have probably found out about the summer story in more detail.

Probably completely unconnected, but I can't help but doubt every now and again, because I have to say if one of the boys were to die, then I would prefer it to be Robert than Aaron....

Anyway, Emmerdale just wouldn't be that stupid would they

If that were to happen, I would have to stop watching Emmerdale for a good few months. I would just be too disappointed in the storyline to do otherwise.

Hi Evo. That tweet was about the loss of close friend. I believe one of his dad's friends died and I think he was a close family friend so Danny was very upset.

I think that Robron will be back to the forefront soon.They have set the scene already with the tension building up over the Adam/Vic stuff and then I think when Aaron saves Robert (albeit he is forced to) I think sparks will fly again.Whether it be anger or lust/love I'm not sure.But I think things will then heat up towards the summer disaster and then there will be the fallout of that and the reveal etc.I think it's deliberate to have had them in the background a bit in order to build up the other stories before bringing Robron back to the centre of the drama again

hey been watching Danny's OUAS video, quite a few times actually, cos you notice more things. the hand brushing Danny's shoulder seems to Ryan's but what is he brushing? My friend and I think it looks like rice. I don't think it happens in England and not much here but in some countries people throw rice when a couple have just got married. maybe nothing and I'm probably seeing too much in it cos I'm convinced its all going to come right in the end but interesting anyway

I think Robert is safe because the character has had an amazing impact since he come back and there is so much potential there for exploring his backstory more and the time he has been away. The Katie reveal in the future also should make us think he will be ok.

I think Aaron is a popular character so I don't think they would choose to his rid of him. The only way he would leave is if Danny decided to leave. His contact will be up as we know. He may have decided when he come back he would do a year then be killed off. Like when Verity come back for 6 months for Donna's storyline. However Danny did say he would be here for the foreseeable in an interview plus I get the impression he really loves working at Emmerdale so i can't see him wanting to leave so soon after coming back unless it was all agreed beforehand. It would be too good to waste Aaron not being there after the incident. He will need to deal with a lot when the affair comes out, plus Robron in a proper relationship would be interesting and Aaron still has to find out that Robert actually pushed Katie. The Katie reveal will also impact Aaron a lot especially his relationship with Chas.

Really both characters need to stay if the show has any sense because there is so much more they can do with them.

I think Chrissie should be safe too. I think this because I think she is the one who causes the incident so she will have a lot of guilt after it when people die especially if one of those people is Lachlan or Lawrence which is possible. Chrissie will be a good character to watch when Robron are a couple so she should stay for this reason.

I disliked the FB page of Emmerdale And also the Hollyoaks one. People on FB are just insane most of the time.

this is what i expect as well...

both danny and ryan are fantastic and together they just organically create all these spontaneous combustion all round

emmerdale would be absolutely barking if they choose to lose either of them when they create all these drama onscreen and online for the show
