I read an article about Dan from the brewery (Liz's new man) which said he has a dark secret past with one of the female characters.

What do people think this might be?

I wondered if he was kylies father, or linked to Leanne in some way, perhaps when she was a prostitute or stripper?

Can't they have a normal arrival of new characters for once? Not harbouring a "dark secret" or "sensational" or connected to the street in some way or the other.

Her dad was called Brian and he threw Kylie out when she got pregnant with Max.

I don't remember it ever getting mentioned but then again it might have been at a time I missed it.

We dont need to go down the EE route where every newcomer has to be related to or have a past with current characters.

Well as we all know the writers can change names at random. Leanne's "real" mother was always Barbara until she turned up in the Street and was called Stella. I would just like to know what blokes see in a 60 old woman that looks like someone who works on the Walzers in the fairground, with a face so full of botox she can hardly move it and wears clothes that would make people point in the Street. Yet we are to believe Liz is a total a man magnet.
