It really is coming across that way.
I guess she's gotta insure her 'career' longevity owing to this second stint. I just hope she doesn't go OTT with it. I do find her funny even if it is forced though, you can just laugh with her or at her.

As to her becoming a parody of herself, I think, as people age, their characters become more, not less, fixed. I genuinely think this is just who she is now.

But Helen maybe a large bb persona in years from now, Nikki didn't gain it straight away. Actually I have to laugh regarding this unanimous love for Nikki g, on her second return to the house following her eviction many disliked her. Not only those who voted her out but many went off her when she returned with a different persona once obtaining outside info, she was branded fake, playing up to the camera, using outside info to direct her return and pouncing on Pete as soon as she returned after finding out about his popularity on the outside and likeliness of winning the show. I know some loved her, and she is a bb legend for her large character but it wasn't all universal positives once upon a time. As some have pointed out the love has developed through somewhat of a parody of her previous bratty character. Even ashleigns favour was much to do with her opposing Nikki at the time.
I am glad she has returned I think the house needs some ballsy characters and Nikki and Helen provide that, but Nikki runs the risk of trying too hard and it coming across as forced and somewhat planned ie her new quotes (which actually arent
). I think both girls are going to be great viewing but they have enough ammunition regarding the current dull hems without Nikki planning a show feud with Helen. But I suppose it'll guarantee hl's and headlines which is what they want I guess from going in there.I do think BB value Helen as a big character otherwise she wouldn't be involved as frequently. So she has every possibility I suppose to become a bb 'legend', if not for the right reasons shell become a BB baddie. I meant as in.... unnatural OTT, like forced somewhat. Nikki's funny anyway with her strops she doesn't need to look for it straight from the off. It just seems premeditated regarding her instant beef with Helen, and her Beyoncé quote was clearly ready to be drawn. she's made her name from quotes, why wouldn't she create another one to be remembered for after all it pays her bills. I don't care what her agenda is regarding her return, I just don't think she needs to force something that comes naturally to her.

I suppose when your livelihood relies on you perform a particular exaggerated character it is more likely to become the norm as you age your right.
She comes out with some funny oneliners, but she's still a spoilt brat. She's one of those kind of people that if she was your friend, you'd only be able to put up with her for about an hour per year.

Totally agree. The older she gets the more ridiculous she seems.
Oddly enough the few times she has been on BOTS and talked normally she has come over as quite intelligent and more likeable.

Yep ....................I tried to write something similar yesterday but gave up because I couldn't be bothered but you are right.
Re Nikki - it's a case of looking back through rose tinted spectacles. She was (and still is) a major irritant - although I did chuckle at that line.

I have to admit that I've liked her quick wit on BBOTS and was hoping this was the side we'd see of her last night on live feed. But it was just cringe and she was really irritating.
However the HL show gave her a funny and more favourable edit.
To be fair to Nikki, she has toned it down a bit from her disastrous return to BB7. When she reentered the house, with a week to go, some bookies had her odds of winning, nearly level with Pete. Over the next week, her odds shot up as she went about doing a bad impression of how she thought the viewers would like her to act, slobbering all over Pete because she thought we all wanted the Pikki love story and persecuting Aisleyne because she thought we all hated her. She nearly cost Pete his win too, although Pete had a hand in that as well.

This is pure fan stuff that most of don't even know.
In fact we have a new generation of Ch5 fans that probably never watched the Ch4 show, and wouldn't know Nikki at all.
And would judge her on last night's show.

You don't have to win Big brother to be a winner, Nikki has done very well out of the show a lot more then the 100K prize. Nikki also has a National Television Award (NTA) and her series was the very last time the program won an NTA as well.
I dont ever remember Beyonce gurning the way Nikki does. I keep waiting for her to say "Nice to see you, to see you nice" "good game, good game"

It was the same when she re-entered the house in her series. She just became a caricature of herself, as she knew that's the Nikki the public wanted. It's all become one big act. Not that I have a problem with it, that's why she's been employed to go back on the show this year.
She will stir things up when they go into the main house, so it's not all bad. Act or not, she has still been more entertaining in one show, than the likes have Danny, Jack, Christian and Chloe have been all series.
