Yep - I agree with pretty much all of that.
Val, Kerry and Bernice all make me laugh.
And yes, Tracy and Kirin are dreadful.
I don't like Vanessa either. Nor that Rikesh. Nor Jai - although looks like we're lumbered with him for the foreseeable.
There's a few faces I'd like to see the back of - Jai and Wretchel especially. Hopefully the Spencer's stay gone, I don't mind Ruby.
I also agree that it needs more community events. It's lost it's village feel somewhere along the way which is a huge shame

I hope Tracy doesn't get axed, I think she's great! Kirin can go, as can the Spencer's. Rishi annoys me (well the actor does) and as much as I love June Ackland, the character of Georgia is an absolute bore.

I'd get rid of: Kirin, because he's painful to watch; Rachel because she's just SO depressing; Pete, who really has made no impact and is just a boring character.

The Barton's. Keep Finn and revive his friendship with Victoria. Pete. What is the point of him? The most bland character in soap history. I don't get the Ross love but I suppose he will stay just for that reason. Charlie Stubbs. Terrible, terrible actor. Emma. Started off showing promise but ultimately disappointing.
Others I don't care for and wouldn't miss are Rachel and Vanessa.
I don't mind the rest of the cast and as others has said, despite its flaws, Emmerdale is the most consistent and IMO most enjoyable of the 3 main soaps. And we've got the return of Charity to look forward to. Also, Nicola wasn't taking as long maternity leave so she should be back in a couple of months as well.
