According to the wording of this article Charlie Brooks has said she has left EastEnders for good ie no return.
How would you feel if this is indeed true?

Strange, as Im sure Charlie has said she would like to come back at some point.

I'm pretty sure others in the past wrote off a return only to come back. Charlie Brooks was on This Morning a few months ago, and didn't seem to rule out anything for the future. She wasn't asked back for the anniversary week, but she said it wasn't even the right time.

Patsy Palmer said that in 2005 and even branded the show rubbish only to return in 2008, Even if Charlie Brooks did say that doesn't mean she wouldn't return.

Lindsey Coulson, if I recall, ruled out returning as Carol but has been back since 2009/10.
