unfortunately I feel there is too much stigma ! here in the UK especially with radio people too concerned about appearing to be Relevant and pandering to what they believe is what the audience want them to be in order to be (in old terms ) with it ?
They seem fearful of being seen to support an ( xfactor product) as this might in their view loose them credibility when In my opinion it only demonstrates how their ignorance highlights how blind they are to good music and truly talented artists and instead play mindless crap in order to pander to their perception of what they believe their audience deem suitable and relevant
they appear to be floating around in a tiny little confined tank totally blindfold
The USA are a big country with a more open broadminded approach it appears and they seem unaffected by the narrow minded attitude of many in the UK

Where? I don't see her. That's the real time one though so changes quickly I guess.
On the 24 hour chart she's #38 with a peak of #36 which is quite amazing considering the lack of exposure in the US.

The US needs full attention. I hope Island and Def Jam understand why it hasn't done amazingly so far. I'm sure they do though. They'd know UK radio is stubborn and snobby. The need to know the US is the best bet at creating momentum.
