Wow I've just got chills listening to the preview of 'Power'. How she belts "power" is just giving me all kinds of life. Her voice never ceases to amaze me. This is yet another song that could work as a soundtrack to a film. Kind of like how 'Happy' was the soundtrack to Precious.

I like the little noises in the background after the first chours in the snippet. I want to hear the full ending as I think it's going to be bigger than the snippet we got.

Yeah, in all seriousness, I think 'Stay' (or HEYA) would have worked perfectly for it. Since Leona has a writing credit on them both, I don't see why she couldn't polish either of them up and then her label could pitch them to movie companies, John Lewis etc. I don't know how it works but those two songs are just too amazing to just be left in the album scrap yard. Who cares if they were leaked 5 years ago? I don't. An amazing song is an amazing song.

He doesn't really get anything first. He always uses a stream/link that a fan puts up but is normally the first to report on it.

And whilst "Power" sounds good, I still prefer "I Got You"/"Another Love Song" for singles.

And there's very little chance, if any at all, that she'll get the John Lewis advert although I would love it if she did.

I want 'Power' to be released whenever there is an amazing promo opportunity. Say Leona gets to perform at next year's BRITs (it's not likely, but with Island it's not as unlikely as it was previously), I would like 'Power' to be a single in February. Or if she somehow bags a Britain's Got Talent performance, I would like 'Power' to be released in May/June. There's something very interesting and edgy about 'Power' which could attract the likes of Radio 1. It's got a lot more edge to it than the singles released already.

I wasn't being that serious with the John Lewis/James Cameron comment but with the right song I wouldn't rule Leona out.

I hope "One More Sleep" gets a lot of play this Christmas and re-enters the top 40. It would of last year had it been included on the Christmas spotify playlist sooner (As soon as it was put on the playlist it zoomed up in streaming). Hopefully with all the spotify promo and such it'll be included on the christmas playlist right away this year!

Does anyone know what that Spotify and Vevo promo could be? Is there any event like Apple music does?

Leona visited their offices a month or so ago for Spotify. Maybe she performs a private event at their offices or something? Perhaps she'll record a brief add for the album for spotify? Free users get adds every few songs so maybe Leona will record one promoting her album. Something like:

"Hi guys, its Leona Lewis here. My new album, I Am is available to stream on spotify now and hope you'll enjoy it" *"I Am" song plays in background whilst Leona talks*

She might do an acoustics EP exclusively for Spotify, that's quite common. She might record an advert just like "Hi, I'm Leona Lewis and you can stream my brand new album I Am just click the banner here" - I hear a lot of those.

Vevo could be an interview for her channel, Q&A's stuff like that. Small chance she could do a Vevo certified for BL going passed 100mil twice but I doubt that.


Her only top 40 this year Hopefully they add it to Christmas compilations aswell, that will help massively along with streaming. Do you remember the total sales at the end of last Christmas?
