The problem is that they hype things like this up as an event, and call it a live show.
But they don't deliver. They just finish on a note which teases us with more hype.
I think this will definitely put some viewers off.
If you hype something up as live event television you just simply have to deliver. Not just continually tease us with even more hype.
I think most people would have been quite content with even just half an hour of live from the house.
Emma being live in the studio doesn't quite deliver the promise of a live show.
Technically they can describe it as live, but if the viewer feels cheated then it's the show's fault if they drive viewers away for failing to live up to their own hype.
