Can anyone help me with a link to listen to this online?

It was on Absolute Radio last night but I missed it.

Thanks

I've always admired this group, but have they gone on for too long?
I was amazed that Christine McVie was willing to rejoin lat year after fifteen years away, she's 72 this year.

Surprised they chose to play IoW instead of Glastonbury, was Michael Eavis too stingy?

Glastonbury is the lowest paying of the major festivals, because they give so much money away to charities... they have a maximum payout for headliners of about 250k. Frankly, if the Rolling Stones, U2 and Foo Fighters amongst others are willing to accept that, then fair enough - but the Mac presumably wanted more!

The performances I've seen of theirs in recent years for me are quite painful. I like the material but it's all so tired and contrived.

It’s obvious the organisers of the Isle of Wight Festival offered them more money in the end. I know the band isn't a charity, but they'll net millions from their world tour so it's a shame they couldn't forgo a huge payday and play Glastonbury. At least their performance at the Isle of White Festival went down a storm. It would have been great to have been there, but I saw them in London a couple of weeks ago.

I liked Stevie Nicks when she was a "waif," unfortunately, time hasn't been too kind to her, all those "floating bits" to her dresses, make her look like a bit like a bag lady.

They're playing the O2 that night, there's also a good chance their IoW contact prohibited any other UK festival appearances.

Sexist, ageist and sizeist, not sure what it says about the homeless!

I saw Fleetwood Mac the other night at The Hydo. They were great. Age is just a number.

Stevie is still a fine looking woman to me, clearly you just don't fully appreciate beauty in all its forms.

I too saw FM at the Hydro - great gig even though Lynsey Buckinham is a bit full of himself. I was almost side on to the stage so was amused to spot a "hidden" second drummer immediately behind Mick Fleetwoods drum kit - must need some filler

I don't think you needed to be at the side for that, the second drummer was on the video at one stage, probably deserved a mention at the end?

I liked Lynsey the other night, yes he was full of himself but it's not unusual in a rock star and he was so into the music at times.

The Hydro is some venue.
