I thought the 360 games with gold were going to be part of this? Still only showing the XB1 games, So no download for Dirt 3. When you go to store, it says bundle only and won't let you download

One of the ones I was excited for, and was on the list
On the Gold page on your Xbox One there's a tile on the left saying "Double Your Games". Click on that to go to the Xbox store and add it to your account.

It will then appear in your "ready to download" list.

They might add them later, but I guess you can download it here http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/Pr...=Game#LiveZone then it might show up on the Xbox One
That worked thanks. Purchased (for free) on xbox 360 store and showed up in my download list on xbox one

Where is Toe Jam and Earl? lol. Seen it on my friends list of games showing his 360 titles. Oh well Streets of Rage will have to do.

My brother tried his Fallout 3 GOTY which has the DLC on a disc and he told me it installed it.

It only shows games if you actually own them... dunno if that's the case here

Weird, yeah. According to the small print you just have to own it and have played it for the games to become accessible when available - which should be now... Have you tried opening the game up and seeing if there's not some kind of access through that?

The Gears of War games are up for people who already own them.

If you're getting them via the Ultimate Edition, you need to wait until the start of December.

So I read that you can just put an old 360 game disc into the xbox one and it will download. I tried that with Dirt3 but it just says "Make sure you are using an xbox one game, a music cd or a movie on blu ray or DVD" Why wont it work?

Might sound like I'm stating the obvious but does the disc need a clean?

No. I also tried Rainbow Six Vegas 2 which I think is also on the reverse compatilibity list but that didn't work also.

Yep BC is good, it should be encouraging everyone to go digital now?

The next step is to bring xbox gaming to pc. I would be the greatest thing ever if all my xbox digital games worked via windows 10 pc. It would be the quickest way to bring 4k gaming to forza/halo.

Pc - hardcore gamers
Console - casual gamers

What is the install base for windows 10 pc these days? There is a lot of maoney to be had from halo/forza.

You can already stream your Xbox One to a Windows 10 PC.

I know, but why the need for a xbox, just use a pc/laptop, since windows is microsoft's main business.

Having halo 5 as DX12 main launch game would have been a no brainer for me. And also to push multi platform ownership.

Xbox One - set technical spec. Games made for a known quantity.

PC - practically infinite technical spec. Games made to cover many, many, many different configurations and drivers.

So, that's one tiny point...
