That's the thing with pc, there is no standard. You can water down any game via resolution, details etc
So halo 5 - Power pc - 4k Xbox one - 1080p Old pc/laptop - 480p ![]() Under the current rules, pc gaming doesn't do that badly. |

I want them to make COD: Modern warefare 2 backwards compatible. It's my favourite of the COD games. Especially the special ops missions.

On the Gold page on your Xbox One there's a tile on the left saying "Double Your Games". Click on that to go to the Xbox store and add it to your account.
It will then appear in your "ready to download" list. |

I still find it hard to work out why the XBL Games are not all compatible yet - surely creating a fully functioning emulator for the 360 on the XboxOne shouldn't be that hard as they have 100% access to code and schematics etc, its not like the MAME project where they are working blind on hundreds of different systems.
There must be many people like me who would like to get an XboxOne to play the new games but hate the idea of having to have the 360 sitting beside it just so i can play some Outrun2 and Galaga Legions... |

It's not all down to what is technically possible - MS has to get agreement from the publishers too.

16 new games? Wow... Earth shattering.... Not exactly a high priority job, I suppose.

16 games wouldn't be too bad, if they were the right games. For me, I've little interest in this wave. Beyond Portal. The last wave it was just Mass Effect. Slow going so far...

And that's something to remember: It's not necessarily MS's fault that games aren't appearing. |

To be fair, that's subjective. There are a handful of games in this round that I'll be downloading, I just expected they would've managed to get permission to zap more than 16 more games across.
And that's something to remember: It's not necessarily MS's fault that games aren't appearing. ![]() I don't blame MS per se for the slow rollout, but sometimes they don't really do themselves any favours. After the November titles were announced and mentions were made re Bioshock and BlOps, it would have been the easiest thing in the world to address the expectation that these were coming in December. Their own wording was what led many to that conclusion in the first place. I just don't want this to become a monthly game of dangle the carrot.... |
