It amazes me that Simon would ask her to do his washing, most would do their own, especially at his age. It also shouts to me that people can't be being that bad to him if he feels able to ask such a long winded job of her.

If I have followed it correctly, Helen was wrong about the sequence of events - Showbiz asked for help prior to the general offer being made. However, Helen was right that Harry made a big deal of it, especially given that she offered to do everyone else's washing.

The general complaint is also fair - some of the HMs heap shit on Showbiz at every opportunity.

The washing thing confused me. Basically it went like this; Harry was doing her own washing and Simon asked her to do his. She agreed but then decided she'd offer the whole house as well. Right? So after she does Simon's washing, and the house's, she brings it up later in a group to bitch about Simon. Saying a 46 year old man should do his own. Have I got it straight?
