It struck me funny that he was warning Sam especially about the others, when she and he argued earlier about the things she said about him.

In other words, the four that he sees as the biggest threat to him winning. That was him dropping the seeds for the next round of nominations.

i have said all along that he was just hurt. and stubborn. He didn't like it that Sam bonded with the others. He does like Sam.

From what I saw in the video on the website, Danny, Chloe, Jack, Joel and Nick are the "core group" with Jade and Cristian being targets for nominations.

He also insinuated to Jade that Cristian has been badmouthing her behind her back - which we haven't seen any evidence of.

I find it odd that he was telling Sam to be careful when in another clip he claimed to have washed his hands of her.

He is clearly trying to align himself with a new group so he has some supporters when Helen and co leave.

Yes, in the bunker I think they were the core 5 he mentioned, with Nick being the first of the core group to be sacrificed, after Jade and Cristian have been dispatched.
Obviously Simon would go first, then the other newbies.
